The room was sad. Somebody had some candles on because there was wax droppings on the floor and on the table. The pool was drained. When we were walking out of the hotel, a gentleman in one of the rooms was stuck out on the balcony because the door latched closed behind him. The shower was located above and next to the sink in the bathroom and it was a little awkward taking a shower. The cabinets above the kitchen sink didn’t close properly. Had food debris under the coffee table and the dining room table. Our side of the hall had the old fashioned keys and the opposite side of the hall had card keys. Our room was definitely run down.

The staff was nice. The facility is very old in general. The rooms are different from pictures, and it is very disappointing for the rate value for this level of condition. My family really expected the swimming pool, but it needs serious maintenances and to be cleaned.

Great Value Resort with a Fun Water Park This resort was an excellent value for our family road trip through Jeolla Province. While there are now many newer resorts and water parks in Korea, this place still offers a great experience for the price. Helpful Tip for International Travelers: Most Korean water parks and hotel pools require proper swimwear and some form of head covering, usually a swim cap. Many places will also allow a baseball cap or rent you a swim cap for a small fee. If you plan to use the water park, come prepared to avoid any inconvenience. Also note that water park and bathhouse access requires an additional fee like $20 for bothe access to water park and bth house, which i find it very fair value. The resort has beautiful mountain views and good amenities. Our room included a basic kitchen with cookware and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals. There are also restaurants on-site. Although the resort is older, the rooms appear to have been updated recently and were comfortable and clean. The water park was plenty of fun for our family, and overall I would rate the experience 9 out of 10 for value alone. Even if you don't use the water park, this is still a worthwhile stop for travelers passing through the area. As a bonus, there is a dinosaur footprint site nearby, known for having one of the highest concentrations of dinosaur footprints in the world, making for an interesting side trip during your stay.
