"My 13yr old daughter and I had a wonderfully relaxing time here! She is not about being very busy, so this location was perfect for us. We ate out at a few restaurants nearby and shopped at a cute family owned thrift store around the corner. The owner Barry is very nice and had some great recommendations for things to do in the area. Spending time sitting by the water and watching the sun set was heavenly! Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The house is great. Very clean and the A/C works great! I was surprised that the dock ended abruptly and is blocked. We were there to fish and crab, but fishing was more about getting snagged because we couldn't cast from the end of the dock. Jelly fish were by the hundreds in the water. Not any issue of the property owner just disappointing for anyone wanting to swim. Closet swim beach that is useable by renters is about a 12 minute drive. Wake Beach is about 100 yards of sandy beach between 2 properties. The last night, there was a major storm. Water came in through the backdoor and flooded the dining room. We cleaned it up and reported it to the property manager. He stated it had happened only one time before. Great house, great views and very quiet. Slept really well!!"

Oceanfront White Stone Cottage w/ Private Beach!

"My daughters and I had an amazing time at the sweet Escape. We stayed for a week and enjoyed the beach access, views of the bay, dolphins swimming and also the town of white stone and kilmarnock. My nanny lived in white stone when I was a little girl and staying here really brought back a lot of memories. Thank you for sharing your home with us."

"Great hosts and very helpfull. Unfortunately for us, the majority of our time was spent on Gwynns Island while there. Very easy access to all Matthews county has to offer from this location. Highly recommend this property for longer stays."
