This is an absolutely brilliant place to stay- location is fabulous as only 5 mins walk into city centre! The home itself is very clean with amazing extras like a complimentary food hamper filled with high quality Scottish goodies, a selection of board games and th added bonus of a hot tub! Only slight downside it the slightly tight drive way for parking but a permit is provided to park on a wider steeet opposite. Hosts are also very lovely and respond quickly to messages if you need any help. Would highly recommend!

El lugar muy aseado y ordenado, con alimentos de bienvenida que nos fueron muy útiles, sin embargo, la comunicación con el host fue nula, intentamos comunicarnos vía mensajes en Expedia, y no hubo respuesta, solo por llamada telefónica, lo que no era posible para nosotros, ya que pagamos solo paquete de Internet, no de llamadas locales. Además, durante todas las noches de estadía la calefacción dejó de funcionar y el frío era bastante.

The house was in a perfect location - everything was in walking distance. The binder of information was helpful (although info about the TV controls was lacking - we had to unplug in order to turn the TV off). This is a snug house, clean, with a sitting area that we loved to relax in. The kitchen was fine, and the provision of basic foods was very much appreciated. We did some cooking there, and a measuring cup would have been useful. The beds were good, and the bathroom fine, with a very hot towel rack/heater. I would not recommend trying to fit any size car into the parking area at the back of the house. It's a bit of a busy road, and there are mere centimetres to spare between the car and stone pillars at the driveway entrance. The street parking pass was a godsend, as was the kind host granting us a late check out.

The Holiday Home was a fine place to spend a couple nights, but the kitchen had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There was a sticky brown substance on the floor under the kitchen table that stunk up the kitchen. We made use of the nearly empty bottles of cleaning supplies to clean it. We ended up having to walk to the nearby convenience store and getting more paper towels and toilet paper because the house only came with mostly empty rolls of both. The kitchen floor had not been swept and had a lot of dirt on it. We could also see snail trails in the morning on the downstairs carpets. Otherwise, the bedrooms were clean and comfortable enough. The shower did not drain well but the bathroom was overall pretty good. I'd recommend this 2 bedroom house if you need a lot of space and the ability to cook and do laundry (but beware there's no dryer so you'll have to air dry). We did not cook and just went out to eat, but the kitchen seemed to be in working order and had everything you'd need.

Great stay

Had a great 3-night stay. The house was very comfortable and in a nice residential area, but only about a 10 minute walk to the downtown bars and restaurants. The hot tub was nice and we made use of the washing machine. Seems like a great deal for the price.

This was an excellent stay for our family of five. Very comfortable spaces for everyone. Our first night, we had an easy street walk to dining options. Definitely recommend booking diner reservations in advance. The hot tub was perfect after a day of sightseeing. Very centrally located. Perfect.

Great accom in fantastic location

A very nice & clean holiday home, great location, safe and quiet given a few pubs close by. We enjoyed the welcome basket of goodies and would totally recommend this accommodation to others. Our hosts were very good with communication.

Very welcoming and user friendly house. Amazing hot tub and a lovely patio. Really helpful owners. The place is within a short walk from the centre, plenty of charming cafes and shops nearby as well. Great for the children.

Stay was comfortable, welcome packet was a plus, temperature was controlled, main stores were a bit of walk but doable, bedrooms are upstairs, perfect for someone who can climb up a plight of stairs. Uber doesn’t operate here in Inverness, if you don’t have a car, book your ride a day or a few hours ahead.

Perfect in every way.

Great cottage in every way. Comfortable and clean, equipped with everything we needed including a generous welcome hamper. Great to have parking on the drive and the sunny garden. Short walk into city centre.

The perfect place to stay

The accommodation was modern, clean and tidy, with fresh towels in the bathroom and fresh linen on the beds. Full marks on the hygiene front. Everything was well laid out, and we had no issues or problems using any of the appliances e.g. cooker, tv, heating, etc. The Wi-Fi signal is good throughout the house, which can be important if you have kids. All of beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was in excellent condition with a fully working shower, etc. The house is located a convenient 10 minute stroll from the city centre, and there is a quiet, child-friendly bar situated a few minutes away that does terrific meals if you fancy a spot of lunch. Would I stay at the Ardentorrie Holiday Home again? Absolutely! Definitely a great place to stay, especially if you are looking for somewhere clean, quiet and modern, which also has handy access to the city centre.
