This two-bedroom (plus loft) house is in the perfect location to enjoy Mt Washington Valley. The quaint Story Land, a family-friendly theme park offering endless rides, water slides, and guided antique cars, is three miles away. Hiking trails abound nearby. If you'd like to experience more of a city life, North Conway is less than five miles away offering a plethora of dining and shopping options. Winter visitors can take their pick between skiing at Attitash (six miles away) or Cranmore (five and a half miles away).

Cozy cabin

This property was charming and comfortable. Perfect for our needs. My daughter is relocating to the area. Everything was spelled out nicely on the paperwork. the space was comfortable.

Cozy and convenient

Comfortable stay in a great location. My only negative is the heating system which distributes heat unevenly, blows hot air into the living room, and requires ceiling fans to move that hot air. I’ll still keep renting, though!

Mountain View

We enjoyed waking up to the mountains view. The house layout is cozy & just the right size for three adults & a dog. At night the view of the full moon coming up over the mountain was beautiful. A great week in the mountains because this home is located close to many mountains and hiking trails not to mention the great restaurants & breweries. Would stay here again.

A huge headache!!

The property was nice and in a great location but we had nothing but problems with the property manager or “LACK” of one. When we checked in it was about 25 degrees out and the fireplace didnt work we reached out to property manager and was told someone would contact us thats local to fix the issue l, on the second day still no Response we reached back out and was assured someone will contact us, on the third day still no response we reached out again and told the same thing. We checked out and still no on reached out to us. The houses alternate heating was barley string enough to keep up with the cold temperatures . No one from management cared at all about our issues we felt abondended and alone. If you rent this property be aware that if you have any issues they will not be resolved. Also there was a lady bug infestation they were all over the ceiling, windows and in the stove we had to sweep up about 10-15 dead bugs every morning. We wouldnt rent a house from this property manager again the lack of care and concern for there paying guest is just a slap in the face to the renters its not worth the headache

Perfect home near the mountains

Place was extremely clean and we loved the peacefulness of the area. Our dog loved the river across the street. It was so easy to drive to North Conway, and many of the mountains in the area for hiking. I would highly recommend this place and we hope to return.

Clean, comfortable, and quiet

Could not find washer/dryer and the upstairs shower is not a good fit for anyone over 5 feet tall because of the angle of the ceiling: other than that, the location is easy to find and quiet. The house was clean and had plenty of room for 2-4 people with comfortable furnishings. We wish we would have been able to stay longer. Bring drinking water.

Comfortable, centrally-located, dog-friendly house

The house was comfortable and nicely located for my family (two adults, a child, and a dog). Very few places allow dogs as large as our 79-lb lab. So, we were happy to see that this property allows one dog of any size. Something potential guests should note is that this property is not rented “by owner”. It is managed by a company called Vacasa, and that is who fields any questions or problems. Our experience was that it was very difficult to get them to address a particular issue. We would give this house another go if the owner would lose Vacasa.

Dog friendly and considerate

This property was a last minute book. The mini split worked great to cool the entire home. The kitchen was stocked to cook during our stay (pots, pans, dish soap etc). We loved the outdoor shower out back. The location was tucked away next to a rocky shallow river that you could spend a majority of your day exploring. Getting in the door and WiFi were easy breezy. Thanks for hosting us!

Very sorry home

The bedrooms had no dresser or chest to put clothes in, so we had to live out of the suitcase for the entire month. There was no privacy curtain on the bathroom window, so we had to put a towel over it. The curtain in the master room was see through so we put a blanket over it. The heat is just a fire place which heats the tiny home, but leaves the bathroom COLD. The patio and fire pit were very nice, we enjoyed them. I have learned to ask more questions before I rent again. Past rentals were so nice I assumed too much. Needless to say we will never rent this one again.

Mountain getaway

My bf, dog and I stayed here for 3 days and we loved it! Amazingly clean, had everything we needed. All 3 of us loved it and how cozy and comfortable we felt! Bugs outside at night were a little bad but we find that almost everywhere this time of year. We will def be staying here again and with a few family night time!

We love our staying

We love staying at the house, very cozy and all the amenities as described. Very close to local attractions and we loved the river across the street. The only downside is the lack of dishwasher, which is a must have for a rental property. We cooked for thanksgiving and not having a dishwasher was disappointed. We’ll definitely stay again.

Wonderful rental

4 twin beds was perfect for our family! The home has everything you need for a great visit. The washer & dryer were a wonderful amenity. The home is located across the street from a fun swimming hole. Loved the location of the property and would stay again.

Beautiful cozy home, few downfalls

Adorable home, beautiful large loft with bathroom and 2 bedrooms. Clean, new, very cozy with the gas fireplace. Well stocked, but no hair dryers at all or extra soap. Few downfalls. Located on main road, right on edge of fast corner, so not good for kids or dogs to be outside. Very late check in rule of 4pm only. We emailed 48 hrs before to request an early check in since we were arriving in town at 8am, and we received no answer. When we arrived to the house at 4pm in 20 degree weather, house was freezing and no running water. No instructions for heat, water, or anything upon arrival. No owner contact. Had to call a third party company in Florida who then sends someone out that had never been to the house before. Figured out the water and the heat ourselves, then we were sent directions for the heat thermostat at 7pm and they didn’t apply to this house or thermostat/unit. So we missed our dinner reservation. Toilet upstairs did not flush the whole weekend, and also no instructions for lockbox on how to leave or lock it up once you check in and want to leave for a bit. Lucky we have fun anywhere, and it was a beautiful cozy home and a wonderful time!! But they definitely need to work on effortless, seamless turnover for guests to have an easy transition. Maybe prepare the home during the cleaning that day.

Perfect getaway spot.

We usually take 2 trips up to North Conway a year. One with the kids (2), and one just Tara and I with the dog. This house was just she and I, and it was perfect for a relaxing vacation. While there were ample accommodations for many more to sleep and stay, the house itself is compact in layout without feeling cramped at all and pleasantly not too much house which is often the case when it’s just the two of us. This is by far our favorite rental we have had this far. Would definitely recommend. If we were to take the kids up for a ski trip it would work just as well. We will definitely look for this house again on our next trip. Thank you!!

Mostly perfect place

This place is attractive, the kitchen is well stocked, the bathrooms are nice, and the location is close to everything but quiet and feels remote. However, we did have two issues. We booked the place for four adults because we wanted to invite friends who live an hour south to stay. However, after we had booked this dog-friendly place, upon signing the contract we learned that only one dog could stay. So, we could not invite our friends, who also have a dog - that was disappointing. Fortunately, we hadn't yet invited them. A bigger drawback was that the beds are hard as rocks. We had difficulty sleeping and woke with back pain every day. If you don't mind a hard bed, and don't have more than one dog, this is a very nice little place.

Beautiful area

The house is a great location for fun around North Conway. Loved biking at Cranmore, exploring Dianas Baths and Kancamagus. Would be nice if there was welcome information about wifi, area, etc in the house instead of just online. It was a pain to have to drive garbage to the company dumpster. Since we are paying a cleaning fee, seems they could include garbage removal. When dropping at the dumpster, 2 other groups checking out of Pinkham properties expressed the same annoyance.

Great house close to everything

We had a nice stay in this house. It is a very cute, cozy house. The pictures of it are very accurate. It was convenient to all activities, which was great. We loved swimming in the river that was just a short walk down the street from the house. While we enjoyed our stay, the house smelled a bit musty and the furniture was covered in dog hair. We brought our dog, but she is a hypoallergenic dog, so she sheds very little. The beds were not comfortable at all, which was disappointing. Overall, a nice stay, but I probably wouldn’t go back.
