Reception staff were just ok - wouldn't let us use outdoor pool at 8.10pm after arrival in motorbike gear in 33° - which would have been a godsend (closed 10 mins prior). Was main reason we booked this place. The restaurant was good - excellent pizza and good prices."

"This was definitely not 4 stars, it was 3 star’s experience. I had to drag my suitcase in a dirt road for a quarter of a mile as they wouldn’t let me in the resort to drop off my huge suitcase, despite me asking for it and pointing it out. The nature at the facility was really beautiful, the horseback riding was a nice touch. But the facility, restaurants and service were still at 3 star lever and not 4 starts. "

"We had a great time staying at this place for more than two weeks, which was made possible by an affordable price. Charming room in a 200 years old building in the center of Iglesias. Lots of history around. Excellent city vibe. Great dining options. 15 min from the closest beach. Very convenient if you are looking for a place to sleep and explore the island during the day. "On our 10 days trip on Sardinia,this was definitely the best stay. Giuseppe and his wife Jessica were the best hosts. Nothing seemed to be a problem for them. "L'Abete is a lovely, quiet place. Manager Marco was superb, really a fine, nice person who make me feel welcome and who wanted to be as helpful as he could. I was without a car, and L'Abete is a quarter to a half mile away from the nearest good restaurants and sites. But it was a nice stay; and even better if you want some quiet rest time!"
