Generally, this is a nice property located in the Incline Village with close proximity to shop and couple public beaches. Here is short review on some aspect of property;
1. Incline Village - At least for our stay (8/2020), Incline Village had limited the access to their beaches to owners only (not renters). So, we could not access any of the beaches or the recreation center. This was a change from previous years which made paying a premium for an Incline Village rental highly questionable. So, check on this aspect before you book.
2. Property - This is a nice and roomy home and relatively well equipped with a nice deck BBQ, and two parking spots. However, the property is not well maintained for really minor things. It seems that the person who was hired to install things was not well equipped to do so. Pretty much anything you touch will fall; cabinet shelving in the kitchen and bathrooms, towel holders, toilet paper holder, medicine cabinet, etc. It is really a shame.
3. Property Management Company - This was definitely the low point of our stay. I have stayed in many VRBO or Airbnb places and in every single one, there is a binder with information about the property, surrounding area, and check out instruction. You will find no such a thing here. You are left to figure everything out yourself from how to operate the microwave (it is complicated) to where to take the recycling, to operating the dishwasher (slightly complicated) to recommendations for nearby public beaches, restaurants, etc.
During our last day of stay, we lost power around 9.00 am. When I called the property manager and told them about the power outage, they seemed to have known about it in advance from the HOA; "HOA is doing some upgrade work" but no one bothered to let us know about this pre-planned work and anticipated disruption. This was our "stay-home" day on the vacation. So, we just packed and left a day early since no one could tell us when the power would have come back.
