We had a great stay here! The host is very accommodating, we asked for an early check in last minute and he agreed which was very helpful. There’s everything you need for the beach already there, including towels, chairs umbrellas, boogy boards, toys, umbrellas, everything! The beach is literally a 1 min walk and you don’t cross any major streets so the location is absolutely perfect! The house is clean with everything you would need during your stay (dishes, towels, games, etc.) he even brought a little table and chairs for my 2 year old to use which was really helpful because the dining table is a high top. There’s a few really good places to eat within walking distance, and if you stay on a Friday definitely check out the farmers market in front of the pier, LOTS of yummy food vendors!! Plus the restaurant at the end of the pier is really yummy too, all the fish and shrimp are really fresh and tasty.
The only warning I would give is that the unit doesn’t have a/c, which I know is common for the area and clearly listed in the listing info, but just be mindful of the time of year you visit. We stayed mid August and it was pretty warm during the day, and only cooled off a few degrees at night so even with having all the windows open the house never really cooled down, especially the 3rd floor master. And with the bar across the street there is a lot of “riff raff” noise (motorcycles, shouting, etc) so leaving the windows open all night meant letting that noise in, which kept us up. If you’re a heavy sleeper or can wear earplugs it shouldn’t be that big of an issue. Again, this is not the owners fault, it clearly states there’s no a/c and we have actually stayed here once before so we knew about the bar noise. Just be mindful of the time of year so you don’t have to sleep in a warm house.
Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!
