"The hotel itself is lovely - nice rooms with comfortable beds and well maintained property. I have mixed feelings about the location - excellent proximity to many main attractions with easy walking distances to the USS Midway, downtown and Little Italy as well as super easy access to the freeways, but the immediate surrounding area is pretty run down and perhaps a little sketchy. The pool is average and parking can be a bit tight when the hotel is full. Staff was extremely welcoming, helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again if the price was right."

"Our room was spacious and very comfortable. There was plenty of seating. The bathroom was modern and the shower was fantastic. They have Nespresso machine in the room for mornings and evenings, which was really really nice. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. There is a Starbucks just outside the door of the lobby so you can get a coffee and be back in your room in less than five minutes. When coming in from a walk around town it was nice to come in to find hibiscus water waiting in the lobby. Plenty of restaurants and taverns nearby. Short walk to Little Italy, and gas lamp restaurants. We also were able to walk to the Padres game. I highly recommend."

"We loved the recently renovated hotel many common areas looked fantastic and well taken care of like the lobby & main restaurant. While a few areas looked a little weathered like letters missing on signage by elevators & doorways for staff looked beat up & needed TLC. We had a room on the 3rd floor overlooking the marina & pool, just beautiful. The next time, we'll know to be higher up, it was too close to all the noise at the pool. No one should be in the pool before 9 AM or after 8 PM and allowed to scream & yell. Please consider your guests staying on the the pool side it was too much noise! All things considered though the positives outwayed the negatives & we would stay Sheraton again."

"The Bahia Resort in San Diego was absolutely wonderful. Located 15 minutes from the airport and less than a mile from the beach. The resort is located on Mission Bay and offered boats, kayaks for use. The grounds and landscaping was immaculate . Our suite was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff was attentive and helpful. Our dining experience was excellent. We are already planning our next trip!"
