"This is my opinion. I wouldn't share but I think a warning is warranted. The Dome is to hot to occupy at all until at least 5pm. So what you get for your $150 is a bench surrounded by a ton of camp sites right next, trash on the ground, space not swept out and a long walk to the toilet. To top it off, the door, that faces the other tents, is clear so, no privacy. Just be prepared and all will be well. "

"We stayed at this cabin in February for a family trip. The location is beautiful and the home itself is fine and well-situated.However, our experience with the host after checkout was disappointing. Upon arrival, we found the bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned (hair in the tub and on the floor). We chose not to raise it during our stay and simply cleaned it ourselves. After checkout, the host contacted us regarding minor items such as trash not being taken out, a few towels left near the bath, and furniture that had been moved slightly to accommodate our young children. We acknowledged forgetting to take out the trash and apologized. The other items described as “overturned furniture” were, in our view, minor adjustments (e.g., moving a chair or ottoman for child safety). What was most concerning was the tone of the communication. The exchange escalated unnecessarily and ultimately included a personal remark about parenting that felt inappropriate and unprofessional. While we understand hosts have expectations, respectful and constructive communication goes a long way.We have rented many vacation homes over the years and have never experienced this type of post-stay interaction. Future guests may want to be extremely mindful of checkout procedures and document the condition of the home upon arrival."
"Great cottage. 6 min walk from the sledding hill, and right by the East Summit center - very convenient. Unfortunately we didn't have enough snow for East Summit to be open, so still had to use the car to get around to the West Summit. The cottage is clean and has everything you need when taking a couple of families out. The owner was attentive to our concerns (eg. the driveway froze solid, hence we couldn't get our cars out.. so I asked for salt and the owner got it at the door in a few hours).Water was of a good quality. Rules make sense and aren't over the board complicated. We're satisfied and would recommend!"
Cascade Pines - Private Hot Tub | WiFi | Summer Pool!
8/10 Good
"In overall our stay was good. It could be better if cleaning people did a better job.All blinds are dusty. There was lots of dogs hair in the bedroom. We found several glass beads on the floor by fireplace. We had two little kids, who could easily swallow the beads… It would be a big problem….And it was a little frustrating after each use of the toilet in master bedroom to lift up a lid to fix it. Otherwise after flush water could run forever….Also TV remote controls were not working well because batteries almost died. After our complaint about the hot tub., that temperature is 95 degrees, and not going higher, in the very first day the company worker came in next morning to fix it, and he gave us some batteries for a remote control.Oh, one more thing, we tried to grill some meat, it was a pain…. The grill, definitely, needs to be upgraded.. There is just two little useful spots left, so it took forever to grill chicken…The cabin itself is nice and cozy."

"Good spot. Comfortable beds. Clean. Comfortable space. Lousy internet connections..... but still had a good time and also despite no snow in February. "
