Fantastic, remote lodge with everything you need. I wouldn't recommend the location unless you intend on exploring Caral-Supe though. It's 20 miles off the Panamerican Highway on dirt roads but very close to the archaeological site. The amenities are excellent. Best breakfast I've had at a hotel in Peru. It's incredibly quiet. Internet was slightly unreliable and there is no cellular service. The staff is excellent.

Everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay in Empedrada Ranch & Lodge.The hosts and personnel in the hotel were very attentive and professional. The optional activities too, like the evening fireplace.

Si quieres un lugar para descansar rodeado de un Valle impresionante este es el lugar. El hotel muy buena attention de todo el personal . Buenas bebidas y buena comida aunque el lomo Saltado puede ser mejor. Las habitaciones ok bonitas buena vista. Altamente recommendable.

Desayuno básico pero aceptable, el jamón malo, no se usó la alberca. El derecho de corcho exagerado S/ 60 es un abuso Falta iluminación en los corredores de ingreso a las habitaciones. Al no ser bebible el agua deberían dejar una botella de cortesía

Hotel com estrutura simples, mas confortável. Bom para “desligar-se do mundo”. O restaurante serve bons pratos no almoço e jantar, ainda que o cardápio seja limitado. Café da manhã bastante simples. O atendimento pode melhorar.

Wir waren 2x dort, das 1.x durch die Woche, super. Das 2. x sa/so ebenfalls gut aber voll und dann etwas weniger exklusiv. Wie gesagt, ein schöner Ort, etwas schwierig zu erreichen.

What a wonderful place the Empedrada is! It is like a slice of paradise: beautiful building, an old hacienda filled with antiques and interesting objects, very comfortable rooms and the food is fantastic. Above all, the staff is exceptional - so helpful, so charming and a real joy. It is surrounded by lush agricultural land which are home to many birds. It's very safe and a most enjoyable experience, we would love to go back.

We make a mistake arriving the 14, the ladies of loonies aloud us to take the room, the hotel was not full, the operational mannager was and ass, we have to drove back 4 hours, we where going to take meals , nice hotel but one idiot can destroy everything

The stay quality at this property has gone down in general. More so after its running got taken over by casa andina chain. The rooms need maintenance, showers don’t function properly, bathrooms lack basic amenities like hair dryer etc, no intercoms to communicate with reception if you need any assistance. Feels sad because some 5-6 years ago this used to be one of the nicer options for a short escape from Lima. Not your money’s worth anymore.

El acceso a la propiedad es atroz, puede dañar el carro. Las habitaciones podrian mejorarlas, desde mosquiteros del balcon roto, le falta aire acondicionado (hace mucho calor en verano), no tiene room service, y cierra restaurant a las 21h30 (muy temprano)

First off, the staff was amazing. I let my friend drive and when we got there he left the headlights on in my Jeep. The next morning my battery was dead. Three staff members brought their truck and helped me get it started. They saved the day! My only criticism is in the room. We had #11. There is a ramp between the restroom and the bedroom. It's very slippery when wet. Inform guests to always wear shoes or sandals in the rooms because you could fall. I'd recommend painting the ramp and add sand or cat litter to the paint so it is not slippery.

Liegt schön und ruhig gelegen (ausser wenn die Busse und Lastwagen der Plantage durchrattern) mit Blick ins grüne Tal umsäumt von kargen Bergen. Fanden hier Erholung. Erfreuten uns an den vielen Kolibris welche die zahlreichen Bougainvillas aufsuchten. Das Frühstück war fein, der Kaffee leider nicht. Ist für Gehbehinderte nicht sehr geeignet. Da könnte sich die Lodge noch etwas einfallen lassen. Zum Restaurant geht es eine lange Treppe runter. Personal ist sehr freundlich jedoch nicht sehr flexibel. Am letzten Tag wurden wir bereits kurz nach 7 Uhr aufgrund von Reparaturarbeiten (hämmern) geweckt. Nicht gerade dies was man sich wünscht wenn man in den Ferien ist. Alles in allem jedoch empfehlenswert wenn man der Grossstadt Lima für ein paar Tage entfliehen möchte und nicht fliegen will.
