What I liked was that when I checked into my hotel. The cleaning lady just finished mopping and the floor was almost done drying. I put my bags inside by the front door, left, and returned after going out to eat. I brought Chlorox wipes for the remote control, door handles, and light switches. To my surprise, the wipes did not have dirty residue [brown or dark spots] on the wipes. I am assuming the cleaning lady does a fantastic job cleaning! Very thorough! I did kill some flying bug but hey, it's Houston, it is super humid and Houston is in a flood plain. No other bugs were present during my 2-day stay. The bed was all alright in terms of comfort. I brought my own bedding because I never trust any hotels bedding. The TV selection rocks, the WiFi is secure and fast [No lag], and that was great for my business work that I had to complete. If you are going to eat in your room, take out your own trash. Otherwise, you are inviting bugs. Simple common sense.

Needs improvement
They are in the middle of renovations. But it seems old and out dated. My looked like it was renovated. There was no elevator or luggage carts. Interested to see what it like after the renovation is complete. They are under new management.

The motel is under construction so there is debris everywhere. They can only use 1 side of the entire motel. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower. The towels smelled horrible. I only stayed one night.

I have limited mobility but the elevator was out of order and my room was on the second floor. The one flight of steps was inconvenient but did not prevent me from coming and going. Everythin else about this property was excellent. The huge king size bed was comfortable. The in-room TV had hundreds of channel. The management was friendly and helpful.

Motel was clean and quite the area/ location was bad alot of homeless people bothering me when I want to my car, The staff had a had time understanding my english. The TV needed two remotes hotell staff onle gives one so if you turn off the you cannot slect HDMI to cable box.

Did not like my stay
Room was not ready upon arrival,we were not given key cards to our rooms had to ask for someone to open room every time we left room . Sheets had stains on them ,no soap in bathroom. Missing remote to tv.

Front desk lady that be there in the day is nice and gets it done quick. Not sure why this room didn't have the table and chairs like the others I previously stayed even though I booked Deluxe but that was minor so I didn't worry about it... Quiet and they don't allow any guests.

Wouldn’t recommend
The room had roaches and I had to report bed bugs. When I took the bug to the front desk I was told I wasn’t able to get another room and that because the bed bugs were found later than two hours from checking in I wasn’t eligible for a refund.

I booked a non smoking room online only to be charged a non smoking room deposit. Not to mention the door in our room was not sealed properly we heard other occupants all night long in the lobby. Also the beds are extremely loud not sure if it’s do to the cheap bedding there or what.
