When We arrived the valet area was full of trash We were concerned But the staff was great and the room was very large and clean and comfortable My daughter moved to Houston and we needed a hotel nearby We were there 3 nights We will be back!!!! Very lovely place

Overall rating: 3.5 stars The hotel has some beautiful features, especially the pool and the lobby, which both looked very nice and inviting. However, the room itself did not meet the same standard. I would rate the room cleanliness 3 stars. The bathroom mirror lights did not work, which made the room feel cheap and poorly maintained. The furniture also looked old and damaged, and there were not enough towels provided in the room. Another downside is that parking costs $10 per day, and there is no free breakfast included. Overall, the hotel has potential because of the beautiful lobby and pool area, but the rooms need updating and better attention to detail.

This is a huge hotel but not completely updated and they tried to charge us for parking at a rate of $10 dollars a day but they clearly had a sign that said parking was a courtesy to the guest of the hotel. Would like to know who was just pocketing the fees to park. Other guests were smoking Marijuana in their room across the hall from us with children in the room with them. Did let the woman know that was going on at the front desk several times. I don't think we can honestly recommend this hotel to anyone! Yes the employees were friendly!

Staff were incredible. Clearly undergoing a face lift, but it didn't bother us. It would have been nice for the bar to be open more hours. Also, the eating options weren't as wonderful as was let on in the listing. Breakfast was good but a menu with 4 options, no alcoholic beverages wasn't ideal on a vacation. The dinner availability was only in the bar and again, limited options. However, we will be back because the staff was great, the pool was divine! The lazy river is fantastic! I believe the team there is putting in work to make it a much nicer place long term and intend to follow the process. Rates were excellent and definitely in line with amenities. Paying for parking was the only thing I would truly complain about. Parking should be included, especially with a private parking lot.

The look of the property overall was high-end, especially the lobby and its adjoining areas. Outside, though, they really need to pressure wash the filthy red entry carpet or just replace it. I didn't use the pool or gym though they looked inviting because of my concern over certain shared public spaces where the volume of oils and fluids from people's bodies can build up invisibly. Shout out to Alexis the concierge who was friendly, courteous and professional. And though I didn't get her name, the blond older lady bartender was nice. Now to the food options. Unless you just enjoy throwing away money, I recommend eating at one of the many restaurants that are a literal five minute drive away. And skip breakfast altogether. The limited menu from the on site restaurant has laughable prices, and that's the only meal it serves, being closed the rest of the day. My room on the ninth of ten floors in the main tower was clean, big, and quiet. The TV remote had Netflix and Prime buttons but those services weren't available. No big deal because I was looking to sleep for most of my two nights. The thermostat worked well to control the room temperature, and hot water came out of the shower and sink immediately. I read mixed reviews after prepaying and got nervous. I think it depends on when you go. The place clearly survives off of booking private events more than locals. If I wasn't leaving Houston, would stay there again. Oh, and expect to pay for parking.

Everything I say is if course my experience. A lot I will share is solely to inform what they will be prepared for. Overall my experience was good. Upon arrival I was greeted.. The hotel clerk was very nice and he explained everything well. He was very informative and detailed. The hotel is gorgeous and i eventually learned of everything the hotel offers closer til when it was time to leave. The rooms are decent size and clean. The bed is comfortable and they provided fluffy pillows. A little more firm would’ve been more to liking. However, I defiantly got my sleep. Now it will be hot when you exit the elevator. My room was hot when I arrived. I had to turn the air on and it quickly cooled off. The air might have been off because the room wasn’t being occupied. The had good Wi-Fi. The maids were nice and quick with getting things we asked for. It was very affordable. The only things that I didn’t like was the Diner/kitchen area was closed so that sucks… and then service from a clerk on one of those nights I stayed. They do have parking .. there is a parking fee depending on what day you’re there and they’re outside….
