The host were b kind and the area had a sense of peace and tranquility. It was a pleasure to relax and unwind. My older boys took the loft and loved feeling like they had their own space.
It’s is a beautiful clean cabin. Newly built. Right off the highway. The owners were friendly and available. Their response could t have been more fair or any faster.
Two adults and one 11 year old enjoyed our stay here. We loved all the things there were to do... basketball, corn hole, a handful of board games (on the front porch!), grill, campfire by the river, even the fixins for S'mores were provided! Everything was clean and new and worked well. The only thing we didn't like was the road noise when we were eating/playing games on the porch. But the cabin is so well built we never heard the road noise when we were inside or asleep. This was a great home base for a trip to Talkeetna for a flightseeing tour of Denali. We highly recommend staying here.
I can't say enough about how responsive Bonnie was to our every question & request. Generosity must be her middle name. We also enjoyed meeting Mike who has taken his years in the construction industry and translated that into solidly built & well-designed cabins. Bonnie made sure we had the code to enter the cabin where we found a private bedroom with a king bed and a loft with two twin beds. I learned how to rise in the morning without disturbing my daughters who were asleep in the loft. It took a moment to realize that we could use the gas grill to cook anything we wanted, but it worked like a charm. The refrigerator held our week's supply of food. Though we supplied our own coffee grounds for the week, there was a canister with fresh grounds that welcomed us the first and last mornings. We used the cabin as our hub for a week's adventure during which we hiked, kayaked, biked, flew around Mt. Denali via K2 flights (a rare clear day, we were told), visited Wasilla one day and Seward another.
