「I planned this ski trip a long time ago, but when the slopes didn't open on time, I had to cancel. I was finally able to rebook, but then a winter storm developed right as we were set to leave. My stress level was through the roof!The host was incredible throughout the whole process—always in contact and answering all of my questions. 「We had originally booked the studio apt for Jan 9 to visit an elderly parent - a family emergency came up and we had to move our visit to as soon as possible - the owner kindly allowed us to transfer the booking to an earlier date, the 5th (the day after my distressed call) at the cottage instead so other family members could stay as well. Owner is not local, so apparently did not know that the cottage was not quite prepared for guests- it was clean, but not stocked and had some repairs going...
