Nice cost-benefit stay with a very good host!

It was a very nice stay in Old Havana! Havana is a difficult city with its surroundings. But the host, Darian, is such a nice guy and made us feel very comfortable and with a cozy reception ! He made everthing possible so that we could have a Nice stay. The room is ok and the location is very nice with everything in the city pretty close to it

We booked two rooms in the hotel, so we basically had the whole place for ourselves. The breakfast served by Darian was generous and tasty. He helped us with some other things: to exchange money and to get a mobile internet. Everything was great, it would be perfect if the place had WiFi for the guest (it doesn’t right now).

The property was very old looking We were on our own in the property the room was old looking with a terrible view out of the window staff was very friendly Unfortunately we didn’t have an electric or water so had to leave 2 days early The staff sold me a sim for 25 dollars and it didn’t work and told me I had to give it back when I left after 2 days a con really

Hostal Real Cervantes is a higher-end stay in old town Havana. I could easily see that the host put in a lot of thoughts into renovating the rooms with ample lighting, new baths, stone floors, modern air conditioners, and tasteful decorations. The four of us stayed in two rooms with two king-size beds and separate bathrooms. The host responded to my messages quickly, and the two on-site assistants, Yamilet and Indira, were warm to help us with great information. The location is really close to Plaza of Cathedral and walkable to Museum of Fine Arts. A couple of caveats: there was loud music starting around 11PM in the Cervantes park and a neighbor raises a rooster that starts to work at 6AM. Everyday. The Internet connection was spot in the first two nights but much better in the third night -- maybe the connection was through cable modem so bandwidth was determined by how many neighbors are using it? All in all, a great stay. Thanks a lot!

In the evening, my room door was opened by someone unknown. Fortunately, it was locked from the inside, so it wasn't forced open. No one dealt with the incident of the door being opened at night. It just ended without any result. It is located in the old town. The surrounding environment is relatively dangerous.

Es un ambiente acogedor, agradable y cómodo para estar en la Habana Vieja. Se puede recorrer a pie hacia todos los puntos históricos del barrio, aún y con la falta de mantenimiento que tienen en esta parte de la ciudad. Nous avons adoré notre séjour de 2 nuits à cet endroit. Cet hébergement est parfaitement situé pour visiter la vieille Havane, près de bons restaurants. Les femmes qui gèrent la place sont exceptionnelles. Elles ont été très attentionnée et nous avons eu de belles discussions. Toutes nos réservations de taxis et de tour de la ville ont été effectués par eux, ce fut vraiment facile et agréable. Nous étions 2 amies avec des jeunes enfants et l’appartement est idéal pour un groupe. Je le recommande fortement pour l’ambiance, les hôtes et l’ensemble de l’expérience. Merci pour tout!!!

Très belle expérience humaine dans un beau cadre

l'Hostal est parfaitement situé en plein coeur de la Vieille Havane. Les 2 personnes qui nous ont accueilli sont d'une très grande gentillesse et nous ont beaucoup donné de bons conseils pour découvrir La Havane. Elles sont adorables et c'est leur qualités humaines qui font de ce séjour un beau moment. Les chambres sont parfaitement entretenues et nous nous régalons d'un jus de fruits tous les matins !! Une belle expérience, d'abord humaine et ensuite pour le lieu qui est très bien .
