"All these reviews complaining about the motel being what a motel is, a place to sleep with outside entry to the room. It is a motel, for under $100 per night, off a highway in a small drive thru town. Here is what to expect: the outside of the place is not as nice as the inside due to age, the staff is polite, the room has been rehabbed, room is clean, linens are clean, bed is comfortable, plumbing works, it does not smell bad and 1 pet stays free. Yes, it can be noisy due to the proximity to the highway, the amount of traffic in and out of the motel, there is only fast food nearby, there is no free breakfast or fancy views. It's a clean roadside older motel, it is not fancy but it has what you need to sleep in a clean room for the night as you pass through the town. "

"We love to stay at B&B’s. So with Mammoth Cave being a destination nearby we made this our overnight stay. It was a beautifully maintained and decorated place with every detail well thought out. Even to having a personal fan in the room, which we need to sleep! Breakfast was wonderful and the grounds has many antique delights among the landscape. We absolutely enjoyed our stay! "

"Perfect, exactly what we were looking for. For anyone with little kids, there is no tub in the bathroom, just an FYI, but the shower is a walk in and still worked out fine! Very clean facility and the breakfast was also very good. My 7 year old enjoyed making the waffles. Close to all the attractions in the area as well as fast food places to pick up something quick. The pool is small like most mentioned but very clean as well and we had no issues with multiple families swimming at once. Staff was friendly and helpful. "

"We were looking to find a place that could accommodate our family of 6, and this place was perfect for our family. It’s not far from Mammoth caves and Kentucky Down Under, which were the 2 places we were going while staying here. The listing was accurate and had everything we needed for our family. It’s out in the country so was pretty quiet other than the occasional train that would go by. It’s definitely a place we all felt safe at. We enjoyed feeding the horses, and pretty sure they enjoyed us feeding them lol. The other animals didn’t have much interest in us, but that’s ok. There were other things we didn’t take advantage of, but worth mentioning: a projector in the living room, a fire pit with wood in the yard, and some toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot your own stuff. Host also communicated quickly when we had questions. We would definitely recommend to anyone coming to the area looking for a vrbo."
