They were renovating so some things were inconvenient. But the staff is on point & very accommodating. Manager Marylou & front desk Angie was the meaning of great customer service. Besides the renovations, the only other thing would be they need more handicap parking spaces. 2 for the whole hotel is just not enough.

Been to waikiki several times though a little construction one of best stays. Situated right one block from main street. Pool area newly renovated and beautiful if you prefer pool over beach. Walkable to everything 2 min to 5 min. The staff go above and beyond for guests. I would definitely stay here again looking forward to seeing new lobby renovations.

Hotel was currently under construction but we were given a new room. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is very close to the beach, lots of shopping and dining options. There is bus transportation nearby if you want to take the bus. You can also check with lobby on shuttle options. We had a great time.

The staff was really welcoming and attentive to all needs of our stay . Our room was amazing better than I expected . Loved the distance from beach and shopping all within walking distance . Would totally recommended friends and family to stay here. Can’t wait to go back .

The Ohana Waikiki East is currently undergoing renovation, so bear this in mind when booking. The pool area has been refurbished, although it was out of action for a few days whilst we were there. We did not dine in house at any time - I am not sure whether all dining options are currently available. We stayed in a hotel style room (fridge and in room safe). It had a small balcony which faced towards the ocean. There is construction going on across the road from the ocean view apartments, and that is six days a week. The staff were helpful, and available to answer questions. Great location.

My room was under the floor where construction renovations were being made. All the constant drilling sounded like it was in my room. The we're paper thin. There was a 2 to 3 inch gap at bottom of door because it didn't fit the space. When neighbors besides us closed their door our door rattled it would scare me because it made our door sound like someone one was trying to get in. The room next-door had children that would wake up and scream between 5am. and 6am. every morning. The drilling from construction started 9 ended about 3. I was told at check-in to ask everyday for a different room. We did and nothing was available. The last day something was. I was never told that construction going to be above our room, and you could also hear our neighbors talk in our room. We have never experienced any vacation like this. The hallway to get to our room stinks. Room very outdated. I also have asthma and use a inhaler often because of smell and dust. So disappointed it was a nightmare staying there. It was supposed to be a vacation of a lifetime for my daughters and I.

The property is under construction yet you could barely tell. They did a great job of keeping that hidden. I had a brand new room and it was comfortable and spacious. The property is under renovation, the rooms and pool area are amazing and the finished results of the hotel's facade will do too eventually. The building work was a little noisy, but we were on the 15th floor and not affected. Definitely stay here, lots to eat, shop and do within short walk and only a 5 minute walk to waikiki beach.

I was very disappointed. There was no vending machines, no room service, no good customer service. And the workers in the lobby were racist and providing me with different information every time I asked the same question I was very dissatisfied with my stay.

Loved the location. Close to the beach and all amemities of the area. Great staff. Very helpful. Clean and very comfortable. Only downfall was a small shower. Would definitely stay again. Big shout out to Angie and staff at reception desk, Gerald & John for luggage handling. Also, a shout out to the security guard who gave us info where to find a special souvenir. Should have been comped a lot of things like parking fees. I didn't receive notifications of hotel renovations until 36 of hotel make over when it was to late to switch hotels. I spent 10 nights there with construction makeover with no ice machine (had to call room service) still charged $20 a day for parking. No microwave or amenities. Pain extra fo Waikiki side room am was stuck on pool side and level 3 3 . Staff was nice outside of the attitude given from maid services for not wanting everyday cleaning. Overpaid for this experience. Will not return to a Outrigger hotel.

The room was dated and the ac was horrible. The staff was very friendly and gave us fans to fix the ac problems.The location made it worth it. We didn’t spend much time in the room. If the price was right I might stay again but it was not worth what I paid when I stayed.

The property was under construction during the day so it was loud. The pool attendant Shannon was very good. Made the pool area very nice to rest. All the staff were very friendly.

Thé property is nice and clean. The blackout curtains don’t close all the way so a lot of light gets in. Also, the coffee maker in our room was difficult to work and there were no coffee cups.

Very noisy due to construction around the hotel as well as in the hotel. Rooms are run down and need updating. Staff were excellent.
