"My wife and I usually stay one of the big ocean side resorts, decided to try VRBO. Waikoloa Village is different, quiter and little cooler weather. The condo was awesome, reminded us of our own condo in the mountains. Super clean, all the amenities, everything was easy. Staying at a condo away from resort made us get out and explore more, and we found new things to do even though it was our 6th time on the Big Island. Awesome vacation."

"Very clean property with lots of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and more. Minimal decor, not a lot of Knick Knacks around. Feels like your own space not like you are staying at someone’s home. My Down syndrome son especially liked the small pool and hot tub right outside his room. We were happy to see chairs and toys in the garage for a day at the beach. The property managers were easily available when we needed them. We had a wonderful stay."

"The Wai-ula-ula condos are an excellent choice on the Big Island. Everything was fine except the twin beds in the third bedrooom are very uncomfortable and need to be replaced and the dryer needed to be unplugged and plugged a few times to get it to work. Other than that, everything else was very good."

"We stayed at Waikoloa Village to participate in an Ironman. The quiet atmosphere was appreciated. However, the welcome book had only the bylaws of the condo association, no details of the pool location or access, no WIFI code. We reported the lack of WIFI and were told to look again! Finally once I was angry the agent relented to give us the code in a text. As for the pool facilities we did not bother calling. On day three we saw an employee who helped us out."

"Our visit to the Big Island was great. The place was super. We had only one suggestion and that was to do a quick clean before new arrivals. It felt like the dust and floor grit was just because the place may have been empty for a while before we arrived. One other suggestion provide a swiffer or some floor mop for the patio. "This is our 4th visit to this condo. Needless to say we love everything about it. We watch the various birds come onto the lawn in the morning as we enjoy breakfast on the patio. We love the access to Mauna Kea amenities - the beach is our favorite hangout. The check-in process is quick and seamless. South Kohala Management team makes everything so easy - they are so responsive. We love this place and will stay again in the near future."

"I loved the location of this vacation home. Updates from the photos as far as the kitchen is that the fridge is bigger and outside on the porch along with the induction cooktop. The grill was in great working condition. I really enjoyed cooking and eating outside on the porch. The view is spectacular. Jim was an amazing host and took the time to walk me around. "A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. "We were thrilled with the amount of space in our unit. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to make even a complex meal. We used the washer and dryer, beach towels, and enjoyed the outdoor eating area. From one of the bedrooms you could see the ocean and from the other the golf course. Having two bathrooms was so nice! There is a shopping center near by with many great restaurants and a fantastic coffee place. Only 15 minutes to the beach. Great place to stay! Would return. "
