Fortunately there was a couple of guys staying there who were able to call someone who let us into our room. "Nice, clean property with pleasant garden. Owner lives next door and kindly provided us with fresh eggs from his hens! Unfortunately there was no hot tub which had been stated in the advert. When asked about this the owner said he knew nothing about a hot tub. As the hot tub was the main reason for choosing this gite we were extremely disappointed. The next day when we reviewed the advert again there was no mention of a hot tub. Very disappointing and misrepresented. L. Reed "

Chambres confortables et très spacieuses, grande cuisine avec tout l'équipement nécessaire. "On our way back to the UK we were looking for an overnight stay and booked this Best Western Plus, Le Picardy. This has to be one of the nicest Best Western Hotels. A wonderful and kind welcome from Luana, who also recommended a lovely restaurant a minute’s walk away called La Huit 8. We were upgraded to a very spacious bedroom & bathroom. I would definitely recommend "

"The staff are very helpful and friendly. Most staff speak some English which is good when you are tired after a long journey and seem to have forgotten any french you knew. The beds was lovely and comfortable and the French external blinds cut out noise and light for a peaceful sleep. The room and ensuite bathroom are clean. The breakfast is continental with plenty to choose from and includes cereal, yoghurt and fruit. There were some eggs, bacon and sausages and a toaster. Coffee very good from the machine. There is also tea and hot chocolate available although no drink making facilities in the rooms. The restuarant serves a variety of starters, mains and desserts and there is a discount for two and three courses. There is no lift to rooms on the second and third floors but there are a few ground floor rooms. Staff will help you with your bags if required."
