「Very helpful booked through Expedia which I will never do again. I booked a non pet friendly room class or twin. When I spoke to the hotel we had been booked a pet friendly room. They said this is what Expedia do but they were really great and managed to get another room for us but we had to pay another £50 in future will book with the hotel. 」

「I was on my own (newly widowed) but very relaxed at the Bamburgh Castle. Staff were all very kind and helpful. A room with balcony looking over the harbour was really special. 」

「Grand old building , room clean and tidy , excellent night’s sleep . Breakfast good loved the timed sit down . Significant problem in that to ensure right mix of tables, all through the meal tables were being dismantled rolled out to a storage room and others replaced and set . A bit like breakfast whilst refurbishment on going .」

「Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. 」

「We had a relaxing 3 night stay with Carolyn. Lovely bedroom with large en-suite bathroom in a peaceful, rural location. We enjoyed the breakfasts as well as Carolyn’s home cooked evening meals, both of which gave lots of choice. We didn’t want to leave! Thank you Carolyn 🙏」

Overall the establishment is a 5 star rating with excellent good quality meals both in the morning and at night. Ideal location for getting about the area and would highly recommend this venue. 」

「The property is in a great location, perfect for the bus and the coop. Short walking distance to the centre of Seahouses. It was clean and felt like it had been decorated recently. Towels were nice and fluffy. Coffee/tea stuff was refilled daily. Only thing missing was hand wash in the bathroom.」
