Big fun in a small town

The owner, Raymond, is terrific—very friendly and he went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable. He also owns the local winery, The Walnut Creek Winery. It’s highly recommended.

We were in town for a wedding at a nearby event center and needed a home to crash at each night. The house was very spacious and you could tell that it had recently been renovated. There were three good sized bedrooms upstairs with a shared full bath in the hallway and 2 full bathrooms downstairs with a large living room and kitchen. Apple Maps took us to the wrong location so it took us a few minutes to locate the house but its color helped a lot! We arrived around 7pm the first night and the home did not seem quite prepared for us. There was dirt on all the floors and a dishwasher full of dirty dishes that smelled. There was on Keurig pod left for 4 adults and 2 nights. But a dollar general is just down the road so we went and grabbed our own. We were able to clean up and made short work of the dishwasher smell by running the wash a couple times. There is one tv in the home and it’s an Amazon tv. It’s a decent sized tv but you have to login to your account to do anything. There was no info on the wifi but a text to the owner and he sent it to us quickly. We are early in the season so they may not have gottten the outside patio set that’s in the pics set out yet. There was a metal swing and a couple benches that could be used tho.

Here’s a polished, friendly Vrbo-style review you can drop right in:---We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was clean, well‑maintained, and offered plenty of space for everyone to spread out comfortably. The bathroom setup was one of our favorite features — the double sinks, separate toilets, and separate showers made getting ready so easy and stress‑free. Communication with the host was excellent.
