We stayed at Mohlabetsi for two days. Everything was top-notch, from the greeting as we arrived at the Lodge, to the farewell upon departure. The setting is wonderful, with a large green lawn under shade trees where a lovely lunch was served upon our arrival (as we gazed at the giraffe in the reserve just a few yards from the lawn). Loved visiting Leopard's Lair - the setting is excellent on the "other" end of Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate and on the Mohlabetsi river - it really feels secluded and more "in the bush". The rooms are large and beautiful with the patio/balcony and outdoor showers. The team is excellent - our host and property manager Sonja was warm and wonderful and had so many great suggestions about Hoedspruit (all her food recommendations were perfect!).
