"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "wow worse hotel I've stayed in a while. Awful dated rooms with dirty carpets and all walls marked with scuffs and stains. Beds are not changed daily, rooms are not cleaned daily, no fridge in the rooms, water filter machine at the end of the hall way broken so have to go down to another floor to get water. Television comes on during the night on it's own. So have to move the cabinet out to switch the main plug off. This was switched off when I arrived so they know about this fault and haven't sorted it. Ordered room service which was awful and burnt didn't realise you could burn scotch eggs, also chicken tikka masala had chard black chicken pieces. Hotel so dated and dirty will not be staying again although the golf course looked nice. Feel bad leaving a bad review but I travel a lot and had high expectations for this hotel as I planned on booking a weekend with my wife here but no chance after this experience."

"The staff there was really lovely The room we stayed in was not really kept well and the upkeep was a bit poor and it was not the cleanest. The breakfast was nice it was a breakfast buffet next door. The gym was small but decent for a workout The pool sauna and jacuzzi was amazing, steam room wasn’t working when I went though or was not set up "
