「We were literally there only 11 hours, but chose Hampton Inn South because we have stayed previously multiple times, as have some other family members, when we visit our Harrisonburg family, and the stays have always been very nice. Best value in the area as far as we are concerned. Always clean, staff is pleasant and professional. My only complaint would be running out of coffee during breakfast by 8:30, otherwise great as always.」

「Hotel staff and amenities were outstanding. Access to good and services all around are great asset to hoteliers. However there were left over trash in our room not as obvious but small enough for us to have noticed. Otherwise great experience overall.」

「Everything semed to be ok in our room until we decided to settle in and watch some TV. There was no signal. We tried to call front desk to let them know but the phone didn't work! My husband went downstairs to tell them. Their answer was, They're working on it. We tried periodically and still no signal. At 8pm we decided to just go to sleep. When we woke in the morning and getting ready to leave we tried the tv and still NO SIGNAL.」

「Massanutten Resort needs to rename themselves to ‘Massanutten Timeshares and Resort.’ The one stay was not a fun experience. Due to how this Resort had been built in 1971, everything is spread out. You have to drive everywhere which was disappointing, because the grounds where you drive to the hotels, villas, and other things is absolutely stunning, and, if were there sidewalks, would be perfect for people who may want not want to go full ‘nature walk’ but still want to get a good walk in.
