"Charming updated two story house in a quiet neighborhood less than 3 minutes to restaurants, shopping, shipwreck tour boat, museums, and more. House was spotless, beds are comfy, couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to explore Alpena and surrounds. Would recommend!!"

"This house was wonderful to stay in. The beach was great, a little dirty but my 2 and 1 year olds loved it. The house was as advertised. A lot of spiders but that is to be expected with a lake house. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were pretty uncomfortable but not unbearable. The neighbors are the hosts of the home and were very inviting. "

"We have family in the Rogers City area and this home was a great central base for us to visit relatives and take advantage of the lake and downtown. The listing was accurate and parking very convenient. The host was very responsive and helped us a great deal during our stay. My elderly aunt and mom are already talking about next year. Our only wish would be for handrails on the porches and possibly in the bathroom, but we know not everyone needs to worry about these issues."

"A very uniquely designed house on a nice quiet little piece of property. Unfortunately we battled what appeared to be an infestation of ants all week long. The host does have traps out, but they don't seem to be doing much and the ants were absolutely everywhere. Secondly, there is no AC, which would be fine if there were more than 2 windows to open, and there was only one small fan. This cabin would likely be fine for fall or winter months when there are less bugs and cooler weather."

"This was our second getaway to this comfy cottage and it was just as fantastic as the first visit!! Across the river, the trees we just beginning to change color. Such a breathtaking scene first thing in the morning, with the fog. It definitely has become one of my favorite spots in the mitten. "

"Loved the property! As pictured. Very spacious and clean. Brought our 19 foot boot, which was fine on mooring buoy. Lake was beautiful, and we enjoyed dinner at Lewiston Lodge and a burger at Talleys. Otherwise we made good use of well stocked kitchen."

"We had a great visit and even saw the NORTHERN LIGHTS from the backyard dock. The dock was a great place to star gaze, listen to the owls, and enjoy the little lunar eclipse. We hiked and swam at nearby Ess Lake and ClearWater State Parks. The place was clean and adorable with all the up north decor and beautiful views of the lake."

"The cabin had lot's of nice touches and fun stuff to look at. It was a quite and relaxing place to come back to after a day of fishing. The fire pit area was perfect for hanging out and making smores. The cabin is close to a lot of great outdoorsy stuff. All in all, we had a great mini-vacation and will consider staying there again next time we head up to Fletcher's for fishing."
