「I spent just one evening at the Black Eagle Spa and Hotel, and I honestly couldn’t fault it in any way. The room was absolutely superb and impeccably clean. The bar facilities were outstanding, and the restaurant and the Library Room was exceptional. Every member of staff contributed effortlessly to making the stay truly memorable, with no issues whatsoever. I absolutely love this place.」

「It was an excellent place to stay. The bed was warm and comfortable. All the amenities included an A/C, heater, safe, etc. Incredible South African hospitality. Great breakfast in the morning with incredible tasting Omelette made to your preference. The property is nice, with a beautiful garden. Did I mention the great hospitality? They are the best host of people. Cudos to the Owner, Chris, and the manager, Allison. My stay at Highgrove made the trip to South Africa more enjoyable. 」

「The property is very eclectic. Well decorated and a lot of seating outside on the patio. Breakfast was very good. Margaret was very friendly and always smiling. Bed was very comfortable. She was very accommodating, letting us stay there with our luggage since we had a late flight. Highly recommend it! 」

「What a gem. We had a quiet mid-week stay. But it’s a small space so I would think even weekends shouldn’t feel too busy. Food and service were outstanding. Some short hikes available on the property as well. 」
