「Beautiful inn and nice breakfast. Very helpful and hospitable hosts. Keep in mind that the bed in room 7 is quite small for a couple. The amenities, soaps and shampoos were tiny and not good quality. If those were upgraded, I would have given it a 5 star.」

「Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Housekeeping cleaned the room thoroughly. Front office staff were very helpful , friendly, and courteous. Answered all our questions. Continental breakfast was good with a good selection of food. Serving area was kept clean and food was replenished as needed. Loved the maple syrup that was served.」

「My wife and I travel extensively and have stayed in many B&Bs. We were very disappointed by our stay at Hartstone. The staff were WONDERFUL and did their very best to make our stay comfortable, however the owners are clearly just taking cash from the building with little maintenance or upgrade. The room was very clean, however there were several holes in the walls that were roughly patched, but not sanded or painted. There was rust on the metal heater and doors. The mirror was chipped in...

「This is our second time staying there and we honestly have no complaints. It was 65° out in the outdoor pool was 85. Naomi was excellent and very attentive. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and nicely decorated.」

「Lovely place to stay」

「Loved, loved, loved it! Right downtown Camden. We walked to the Grand Harbor Inn for supper looking over the harbor then on to the Camden Cove for Ice Cream. We walked back licking our ice cream cones. The unit was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the shower was hot! We had a continental breakfast the next morning in the kitchen (avocado toast) while chatting with another guest. We totally recommend this place!」

「The cottage was super ‘comphy’ and perfect for the two of us and had everything that we needed! The owner was fantastic and told us about all the things that we should do while there! Our pup was very welcomed and I knew he was safe if we needed to leave him for dinner. It wasn’t far from Camden/ Rockland/Rockport, which is where we spent a lot of time when not at the cottage. We will definitely suggest it to others and be staying with them again!!」

「This was exactly what we needed on our drive up to Acadia National Park. A clean, non-expensive hotel room to stay the night. We got delayed on our trip and the office left instructions on how to get the keys and get into our rooms, including a well drawn map. I'm taking off 1 star simply b/c there were only 2 towels in each room even though the reservation had 4 people in each room. I'm sure Hotels put 2 towels in each room as they turn them over, but it's a pet peeve of mine that someone...

「A microwave may have been helpful since there’s so many good food places around and they give large portions. It would’ve been nice to be able to have leftovers… the bed was not comfortable. We both woke up with hurt backs through the whole week in room 112 ..other than that, we were very happy and we will definitely be back..」
