Located in the charming market town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, Deacons Bank is an excellent base for exploring the Peak District. Known as the “Capital of the Peak District,” Chapel-en-le-Frith is a gateway to some of the UK’s most breath taking landscapes, including Mam Tor, Kinder Scout, and the famous Blue John Caverns.

The town itself offers a delightful mix of independent shops, cafes, and traditional pubs, perfect for a leisurely afternoon. The nearby towns of Buxton and Bakewell provide additional opportunities to explore local heritage and sample the region’s famous culinary delights, including the iconic Bakewell pudding.

Deacons Bank

This is a really neat, clean, compact and comfortable apartment right in the heart of Chapel. All the facilities were top notch, the decor was modern and sleek, and everything I needed was provided. A great place to stay.
