Very cozy hotel with a great location! Beach is sandy and clean , different beaches are availiable. Food and variety of it was good! Hotel team made our stay very pleasant! Loved the sea-view room! will definately come back next year! thank you , Sunset Beach Team!

Hotel war sauber Bett swh bequem, wenn man es hart mag Pool von 18:00 bis 10:00 gesperrt - mit einer Kette abgesperrt - was für eine schreckliche Optik sorgt Strandzugang auch gesperrt Frühstück sehr sehr einfach gehalten - eigentlich zu einfach für drei Sterne

небольшой отель. Хороший завтрак. ужин из 3-4 основных блюд (мясо, рыба...) На ужин напитки платные из бара. Море, пляжи прямо у дверей. Номер мне больше понравился в анексе этого отеля - у всех вид на море и номер больше девушка на ресепшен говорит по русски. wifi был везде, довольно хороший

A lovely hotel overlooking the beach

I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is in a perfect location overlooking the beach and close to amenities. The accommodation was recently renovated and was very good. The staff were lovely - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Just a stone's throw from the Airport

Just a stone's throw from Heraklion Airport, that's why we chose it, 15 Min by car, and TUI shuttle. Generally OK, but direct below the approach line of the planes. Stuff friendly obviously also Russian speaking, which could be an asset according to the provenance of the majority of guests . We got a little breakfast prepared before the off. hours, Room: Small (sufficient for our purpose) no windows, and door leads direct to the inner yard and restaurant area. I'd recommend it for the last night before the flight, not to spend your holidays.

Ok for 1-2 night stay after / before the flight if your flight take you to Heraklion. Staying longer is a waist of time. There are much better places. About sunset- total lies. There is none. I wonder what made people elaborate on beautiful sunsets. 100% lie. As for the staff, there were just 3 people there. Cleaning person was nice. Front desk person, Xenia, was also ok. Third person, Nicololay, was rather rude. Good breakfast, bad dinner- very limited food choices, no drinks provided, not even water. Water is not drinkable there, and they charge you 2.50 euros for each bottle. On a positive side, it's very close to the airport. It's also on a bus line, and it takes 20 minutes to get to Heraklion (but I recommend saving your time for more interesting places). We stayed there for 3 nights, and then went to the west of the island. I regret staying that long.

A relaxing, family run hotel on the water front

I was looking for a relaxing beach holiday, with a room that overlooked the sea, and that is exactly what I got. I had a double room, with a large balcony that had beautiful sea views. I also liked that my room had separate living and sleeping rooms, so I felt that had plenty of space. The staff were friendly and laid back, and the hotel had a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. When I arrived, I upgraded to half-board, and the evening meals were always tasty and had a good variety of meat and veggie options. The hotel is close to bus stops that can take you to various sights. It was 20 minutes by bus to Heraklion and only 15 minutes to get to the airport, which was very convenient. I was able to catch the bus back to the airport for only 2 euros.

Fabulous beachfront location

We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Sunset Beach hotel and are already looking forward to returning next year. We arrived and were greated by Nikos who was very friendly and could not do enough to help us and that continued throughout our stay. The sea and beachfront location could not be beaten and the sunsets were spectacular. The rooms were very spacious and cleaned every day by the hard working cleaner. We had a room by the pool which suited us as having a young son we could pop in and out when we wanted which was very convenient. Throughout our 10 day stay both Nikos's made our holiday. They both went out of their way to ensure we had a good time.

Nice hotel , close to beach

We booked double room with sea view and balcony ( before booked we watched on fotos rooms what we want ) First day had big schock because we had absolutely very bad room Was on the ground , oposite sweeming pool and area for resting and enjoy customer from hotel , at all time must be closed courtain because people look to bedroom and daily room . We was ready on next day look on different hotel in kokkini hani . I and my Wendy spoke with reception staff about this bad situation Reception staff had consultation with owner and gave for us normal , nice room on first floor with balcony After all was absolutly excellent and our holiday was fabulous Owner , staffs was to us very friendly , food amazing. Ein nettes Hotel mit vielen Fragen

Leider war das gebuchte Familien-Zimmer mit 2 Räumen und Meerblick nicht mehr da. Hotelmitarbeiterin hat mit dem Manager unendlich lang telefoniert allerdings ohne Erfolg. Dann sollte ich zum Nachbarhotel Marilisa fahren und dort vor Ort direkt mit dem Manager sprechen. Es wurde eine Alternative dort angeboten aber weit weg davon, was ursprünglich gebucht wurde, daraus ist ebenfalls nichts geworden. Letztendlich bekam ich für den ersten Tag ein Zimmer mit dem Blick auf die laute Hauptstraße. Das Einchecke hat 2 Stunden gedauert! Am nächsten Tag erhielt ich doch Zimmer mit Meerblick aber das Zimmer hatte alle Wünsche offen gelassen: Es fehlte das Telefon, im Schlafraum gab es neben dem Bett keine Steckdosen, das Zimmer ist so klein, daß die Tür geht gar nicht auf und-zu, weil das Bett auf dem Weg steht. Das Badezimmer inkl. WC ist sehr winzig. Duschen in diesem Hotel ist eine Zumutung, die Duschkabine ist so klein, dass es gar keine Möglichkeit dort gibt sich zu bewegen. Wenn Putzfrau frische Handtücher bringt, lässt sie diese im Vorraum, weil es im Bad kein Platz dafür da ist. Essen ist sehr durchschnittlich. Man hungert zwar nicht aber die Auswahl der Gerichte ist zu klein. Wenn ein Gericht oder Brötchen am Frühstücksbuffet zu Ende ist dann gibt es keinen Nachschub. Ein Vegetarier oder kein Fleischesser kommt hier zu kurz. Getränke kommen aus einem Automaten und sind nicht zu genießen. Im Großen und Ganzen eine Enttäuschung!

Hôtel vieillissant

fuite des douches des étages supérieurs dans notre sdb le long des goulottes électrique. Changement de ch apres 2 nuits. Plage de l hôtel inexistante. L hôtel se trouve en bout de piste: 4 avions par heure. Petit déjeuner sans intérêt.
