Helgøya Climbing Park

The location is the only tricky part. It’s 25 minutes walk away from the central station. And it’s on the hill. So if you’re carrying big luggage I’d recommend to use some transportation. Other than that, everything was perfect. The room is clean. And not too small. The neighborhood is quiet. Overall it was a lovely stay

Small room but comfortable bed. No desk space. TV instructions were incomprehensible so I could never watch tv. Rooms only cleaned every four days, so you had to scrounge if you needed something like more toilet paper. Breakfast had some good things (fresh pastries!) but was always the same. No strong black tea, however.

This was an odd property, more like a hostile or a room rental in a person's home than a hotel, but it served my needs, it was clean, safe, and was conveniently located for being far from Oslo (only a 10 minute direct train to downtown). My only issue was that I didn't receive any the check-in instructions with the key box code prior to my arrival; the issue was addressed quickly, but I had to make an international call (since I live in the US) to resolve it. I would consider staying here again.
