This was our second trip to this property and it was, again, a really great time. The house is spotless, and very comfortable. The weather was pretty cold this time and the heating system works really well. It was decorated for Christmas and we really appreciated that. The kitchen has everything you need and the appliances are clean. We all especially enjoyed the porch which has comfortable seating and an incredible view. Check in was simple and the owner quickly answers questions and is helpful. We are looking forward to visiting this property again.

Great place to get away!

Easy check in, location is 5 min from downtown but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. We spent 80% of our time on the porch, it was so relaxing. The cabin is fully stocked with everything you need, and the layout is great.

We could not have asked for a more perfect place to stay. The location was close to town but private. The cabin was furnished and equipped with everything we could need. The owner was accessible and helpful. The mountain view from the porch was restful and lovely. Loved spending time in the rockers on the porch. Hope to come again!

The property is tucked away in the mountains and has a spectacular view of the mountain top.Sitting on the front porch was so peaceful and our favorite place to hang. We felt comfortable in the house immediately, nice beds and high quality linens/towels with an open floor plan.I would recommend this place to family and friends.

This was the perfect place for our new family tradition of having Christmas in the mountains! The house was super clean and comfortable. Mountain getaway

We enjoyed our stay in Clayton. My mom and I stayed for a couple of days while my teenage daughter was at Camp Pinnacle, which is just down the road. The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and had a beautiful view of a mountain. We would love to come back again next year.
