Top Heartland Museum Hotel Reviews
Private Apt w/ Washer/Dryer-Parking-Kitchen
10/10 Excellent
"Very livable space with 2 bedrooms and a bath. Clean and well stocked in the kitchen. Great communication with the owner. This was our second stay and we will stay there anytime in the area."
"I love this motel so much that I stayed an extra night. First, it's much more homey and comfortable that a big hotel. It is quiet, peaceful and easy to get to from the highway.
I was able to park right outside my room, which makes everything easier when traveling on a long road trip.
The room key is a real key versus a key card. This is a rarity and so much better than having to swipe a card every time you enter your room. I absolutely love this and would come back just for this.
I was able to work on a cozy couch with everything I needed. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The air is clean. There are chairs to sit on right outside each room to enjoy the sun. This feels much more like home versus a sterile, crowded large hotel.
The room is also clean and well kept.
The staff is so friendly, supportive, accessible and helpful. This means so much.
If you need anything groceries there is a very affordable DG Market right next door.
I would also recommend this motel as a great place for a family. It is safe and quiet and there is a fridge and microwave in the room.
Like my title says, this is a quiet hidden gem.
I will surely come back next time I am in the area.
I have already recommended them to friends."
"My family used to live just across the lake from this house so it was great to come back and spend time at Lake Cornelia. This is a great little retreat. We so enjoyed our time."
Huge Retreat with Outdoor Heated Pool by Briggs Woods Golf Course & Event Center
10/10 Excellent
"From communicating about the property and our access of it, Zack made it easy for us to settle into the family weekend together. Clean, comfortable and enough space for our party of 14 to play well and sleep well. Love the heated pool...everything in the kitchen we needed for cooking breakfast. One of the best we've enjoyed over the years. We also took advantage of renting the family "ranch area" for 4 hours for fun and burgers and toasted marshmallows. Zach was an incredible host - his home was heaven on earth for our group. "
"We were in town for a family reunion and this house was a great alternative to hotel rooms. Very clean and cute inside, well stocked with regular supplies, good water pressure, ceiling fans and good A/C.
I would recommend going to room darkening curtains in the bedrooms"
