「This was our second year at the chip lodge. we liked it so much the first year that we had to come back. the first year we showed up there was maybe 15 people and the house easily accommodated us. its a rustic vibe. things are old and perhaps that is the charm and what we like about it. the highlight for us is definitely the slow cruises on the pontoon boat as we explored the lake. The kitchen is huge and designed to feed a lot of people. Gary is a nice guy. He lives right next...

「We were looking to get away for a weekend away from the kids and the images on VRBO were so cute, that even though only two nights were available we still decided to make the 5 hour drive from Milwaukee. It was definitely worth it. The weather wasn't perfect, but we really just wanted a cozy, intimate space to get away to, and this place most certainly checked all the boxes. We will return, maybe even with the kids next time. Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend to anyone.」

「This is the second time we have stayed on this property and had another fantastic trip. The cabin is clean and well equipped. The location is great. It is walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and the grocery store. We were even able to buy fire wood on the property to make S’mores. The host is very responsive and provides all the information you need. We will definitely be staying here again. 」
