Cabin on the hill
We throughly enjoyed our stay.This cabin was very clean and cozy. Furnished with everything you need. Two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. All on one floor. Loved sitting on the awesome screened in porch.

Nice place near Hiawassee
Very oae to Georgia Fairgrounds. Mariolinos Italian restaurant is near by which was great. The beds were comfortable and the space cozy.

Wedding Weekend Getaway
We were attending a wedding in the area and Knotty View was a relaxing and comfortable base for us. Very comfortable beds and kitchen well-equipped although we did not cook. Nice “cabin decor” and while the house is not large, the floor plan and a great screened in porch makes it seem bigger. Very nice views of the mountains and a small lake are seen from the porch. The place was wonderful. The view was great we sat on the screened porch each evening and one night the ducks paid us a visit and we threw out some crackers for them. We made several half day day trips because we got extra lazy and slept in until about 10. A very relaxing trip that we needed

We absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It had everything we needed! The view was stunning and the location was perfect for everything we wanted to see in the area. We plan to stay here again for sure!

Cozy cabin with beautiful mountain view
Thank you for a fabulous weekend. Your cozy, quaint,and well stocked cabin was everything we could ask for. the privacy and the view from the porch was a breath of fresh air. Loved the area and the Georgia Mountain fair. We hope to visit again soon.

Perfect Getaway!
Our family stayed 4th of July weekend in between a family reunion in Gatlinburg and a quick beach trip to Fort Walton, and we had an amazing time on Lake Chatuge in this cabin! It is a perfect getaway from the grind of the big city. Great location to spend a day on the lake, explore in the mountains or raft or zip line about an hour away. Great memories were made and we hope to stay again in the future! Thanks!!!

Mother and Son Bucket List Roadtrip
My kiddo and I had been locked down since the beginning of Covid, as I had developed an infection that slowly wrecked havoc on my body. Last summer I was diagnosed with liver failure and given weeks to live. Six months later, I was bumped up to cirrhosis with the chance of reversing the damage. My terminal diagnosis still hangs over me but I wanted to celebrate this “second chance” with something I had always wanted to do - see the Smokey mountains. Mary Beth and Dustin provided the perfect location. I didn’t have to do anything but rest when I needed to and we were within a few hours of everything fun and important on the days I had strength! We can’t wait to visit again with the rest of our family. Thank you!

Close to downtown Hayesville for a family reunion. Also, close to Hiawassee, GA for a few days of exploring before our reunion. The views from the cabin were amazing.

Great girls weekend trip!
Overall great experience staying here. Cabin is the perfect setup for 2 friends to stay and have their own private space including bathroom or 2 sets of couples. Location is close to local town and easy to get to. Cabin was stocked with anything needed. We plan to come back with our husbands hopefully in the fall!

Lovely Hilltop Retreat
We loved our stay at the Dallman’s cozy little cabin! The cabin is very well stocked with nearly everything you may need (with a Dollar General and an Ingles grocery store right down the road, for added convenience). We loved sitting in the living room, drinking coffee, and looking out over the beautiful lake and mountains. Though it was not as secluded as expected (some of the neighbors were closer than we thought they would be), it was still quiet, and the close proximity to the main road didn’t bother us/we didn’t notice at all. The driveway is fairly steep, just something to be aware of. We loved utilizing the kitchen for all of our meals, and appreciated the extra towels and pillows that were available. The Dallmans have done a wonderful job creating a comfortable and relaxing abode, and we couldn’t recommend staying at their cabin highly enough!

The experience was seamless, the place was very clean. The view through the window doors in the living room was the best part of the house. Both bed frames have issues that need to be addressed and one of the mattresses was lumpy. Also, adding a few basic amenities like a hair dryer and a few toiletries would be nice.

I selected this property because the picture of the view. It is exactly what the picture showed. Gorgeous! The house was well equipped with EVERYTHING we needed. Quiet area. Owners answered all of our questions and check in/out was a simple process. The owners had a book with detailed information about the area, even menus of local restaurants. Very helpful. I can't forget the daily visit from the cutest groundhog. Anyone looking for a quiet haven, I highly recommend this place.

This place was easy to find and the lake was down the hill. The view was great. The traffic was a bit loud and the grill was not working which was a disappointment All in all we still got on the lake and scouted out the area for retirement. Bell mountain was an amazing view.
