Good parking. Nice restaurant / takeway on-site. Small room with table & 2 chairs, nice bathroom, cutlery and plates but no cooking facilities only microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, no freezer. No sink or anywhere to wash dishes and cups, but a tea towel available. Room needed airing on arrival. Needs new curtains. Handy to supermarket, gas. Only 7 min drive to Port Elliot or Granite Island causeway.
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The room was clean and well maintained, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was convenient and felt safe, which was a big plus. The pool area was nice and relaxing. Overall, a good stay!
We found our accommodation to be clean, tidy and parking to the unit was accessible.
The motel is away from the main shops but that is what we were looking for. Very easy to drive back into the main shopping area.
We enjoy the quiet and have stayed here before Thank you
We arrived to check in about 2:10pm, reception was closed & I had to ring a phone number to get the guy out to give me the key. The room was a disappointment upon opening the door, smelly, crumbs on the bench, large sticky spot on the table. Furnishings were all very old, cracks in the walls, mould around the room & bathroom. We left the room until we absolutely had to return to change to go out for our function. After getting back from our function we turned on the tv to find it broken in the corner & lines running down the screen to the bottom. Only 1 pillow each, no spares. Neighbours screaming at each other & crying at 10pm. Heard a smoke alarm go off twice during the night. Woke up to have a shower and leave immediately this morning to find there was not enough water pressure for the water to spray out, it just dribbled out. Was cold for a few minutes before it finally came warm enough for me to get in only for it to turn freezing cold again within 2 minutes before I could wash off my soap! I exited this place in tears. Worse stay I've ever had anywhere in my entire life.

Id go as fare as saying the room was comfortable and clean and the staff where wonderful
It was the worst motel. We arrived around 2.20pm. No one at reception. I called the number and he was in bed. He got up opened the door a bit and said..your in room 1. The key is in the door. Then went back inside and closed the door. As soon as I stepped into the room I knew this wasnt going to be good so I checked the dishes and to my horror there was dried food on all of them. The cutlery was the same. I complained so he put us in another room which ended up being exactly the same. The rooms were absolutely filthy. I could go on and on and on. We left first thing in the morning. Keep away from that place
I dont like to complain but this was the worst hotel we have stayed in and we have stayed all over SA, interstate and overseas. The room was very dirty, the internet didnt work, and the milk was rotten.
Room and pool area way below standard neglected and in desperate need of maintenance . Expedia should really check their accomodation listings

Concerned about the laundry. Linen (bedding and towels) a bit smelly, are they using enough detergent to wash items?
Room a good size and comfortable, site/location handy and quiet.
Cafe onsite a bonus.

This motel should be 5 stars, for service, attention, cleanliness, unreal chef in the cafe… what an absolute gem!
… and value for money is off the charts!
Don’t stay anywhere else!!!
The room smelt like smoke although, the screen door had a hole in it which felt very unsafe, the deadlock was broken so I had to push my table up to the door to feel safe. The towels had stains on them (looked like bleach)
It just wasn’t a very nice stay.
Oh boy, where do I begin. Perhaps with pubic hairs on an obviously unclean bed-sheet? The need to ask for a Wi-fi network name & password since it's not shared on arrival? A stack of spoons and sugar sachets for some reason stashed behind the Venetian blinds (a clear indication the room had not been cleaned for years). Perchance, the musty, suffocating air inside that is a sure-fire way to legionnaire's disease [still coughing after 2 days]?. Take your pick. But here is the good news! I have traveled through AU extensively, and this is officially the 2nd worst motel I've ever been to. It is incomprehensible the guy's still in business. Seriously hazardous to health: book at your own risk if there is nothing else for miles around.

Room needed some maintenance work but we'd stay again.
The room was comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard are helpfull. A room appointed for disabled persons is a good idea and disabled parking near the room is a blessing.
