Hay-Zama Wildland Provincial Park

The Carriage House was a fine stay, however with how expensive it was I’m not sure it was worth it. I paid over $700 for only a weekend and was put in a room that was clearly joined with another originally; there was a door though you were unable to open it thankfully. The walls were so thin you were able to hear the family next door and watch show they were watching during all hours of the day. Even when trying to sleep at 2am. Breakfast buffet was good, though we did wait a bit for the servers as they were very busy, which would normally be fine but made me late for a seminar as I was in a hurry and took a bit to flag my server down. The elevators were also a pain as you had to insert your room key to use them and they NEVER worked on the first try. So a nice stay but for the price not worth it.

As usual, Fairmount staff are unbelievably helpful and pleasant

Positive overall experience and I will be back. It’s in the heart of downtown and has such magnificent rooms and views.
