Great place to stay on a road trip

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. The place has an awesome retro vibe to it, and could use some maintenance, but for the price I paid....I would definitely stay there again! I love these little holler in the wall motels!

A nice motel for the money. Vintage 60's/70's look. Property upkeep and rooms in decent condition. I especially liked getting an actual key for the room and not those fancy stupid cards with advertising.

Room was clean, registration was pleasant. Bathtub was broken the tub part had a hole in it and had a big open crack. Couldn't shower. Never got hot water from the sink. No in room coffee. No wonder the price was so cheap.

This is an older property and it showed. The bathroom was unfinished and the bathtub had large cracks around the drain. Wifi was spotty and we were unable to use any of the outets to recharge our phones. ??? The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was good.

While it is an older property, for the most part it was very clean. Bedding, carpets, linens etc were fresh and comfortable. The bathroom shower had issues…while the surface cleaning was great, there was black mold visible in the tile grout. Housecleaning is on it…maintenance not so much.

Great at a great price.

The Holiday Hotel is the perfect traveler’s hotel. It’s older and not fancy, but exceptionally clean and the bed very comfortable. Convenient and close to places to eat. The owner is kind and accommodating. Highly recommend.

There aren't many options for hotels in Hawthorne, but this was an excellent find. It may be an old hotel, but it was very clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. I was happily stay there again on my travels.

Comfortable no frills hotel

If looking for a place to just get some rest as traveling through then this is a comfortable hotel to stay at. Manager is Very friendly and made sure everything in room working properly. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Only downside was no hot water so unable to take a shower.

Great place to stay.

We picked this place to stay because of the price. It was very family friendly. It was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The host was very kind made sure we had everything we needed. Told us about available places to eat and let us know there was a grocery story in town as well. It is not overly modern which suits our sensibilities. Overall it was one of the best places we stayed at on our roadtrip. So if you are looking for a great place to lay your head this is the place.

This was a decent stay. The downside was the door locks were not the greatest and old style, meaning you could leave your room door unlocked if not careful. Plus the flip lock inside the room for extra security did not work as it didn’t line up to lock. The up side was the fridge was on and cold and had a little separate freezer area for my ice packs! The property is small and quiet. Stayed one night.
