"The hotel is in a remote location which made for a quiet night. There was a restaurant in the hotel but I didn’t know that so we ate in the nearby town. There was lots of free parking. I was surprised to find my room did not have a bathroom, only a sink and that the bathroom was shared. I have not shared a bathroom like that before and thought it was awkward. "Well equipped apartment on the top floor of a hotel, where the staff had differing views to the owner as to the facilities that were available as a non-guest. Lounge area was compact, shower was over the bath with restricted shower-head adjustment. Comfortable bed, we appreciated the air-con in the bedroom. Ideally located in the centre of Mondsee and within earshot of the Basilica’s bells! Good value for money when compared to the equivalent hotel room."
