"Great communication with the host. Nicole ensured that we will get to the property by offering a taxi service which was very convenient as we flew in after midnight. She checked on us during the stay. The house is licated in a very quiet area. Shirt drive/bus ride to the nearest gas station/store. I recommend it for a short stay. "

Initially, the host was very friendly, checking in with us every morning and evening to see if we needed anything. Unfortunately, this changed when we encountered a flat tire on the car we rented from him.After that incident, the host stopped checking in and became insistent that we cover the cost of a new tire and rim. "We loved James Bay apartments as a young family seeking a relaxed holiday in Barbados. Mark and PJ were great hosts and were very welcoming for the children. We enjoyed being in a more original property for the area, which accompanied by the great view to the ocean helped the relaxed vibe. The location is great, right on the beach and in the middle of the west coast. It’s a good half an hour (not safe for children) walk to Holetown, so you’d need a car or easy bus ride. We’ll be back."
