"This was a return visit to Le Refuge, having stayed there 3 years previously. The owners remembered us and on arrival were offered 'coffee and cake'! This visit was just as memorable as the first with the hosts being the best. The property is superbly located being a short distance from the center of Hasselt. Restaurant on base floor with a small number of small but very functional rooms on upper floors. There is no elevator. If stairs are a challenge come for the food and biergarten. "
