"My daughter love Hartwell and minimalism so we had her wedding at the Botanical gardens. This was her mother and my house for the weekend and we entertained the whole wedding party (10 folks) easily for dinner for a couple of evenings. Very quiet. Very well supplied. One lil family stayed an evening with us and the baby enjoyed the deck with us and the walks to the water to throw rocks. Our dogs were worn to a frazzle walking back and forth to the water. "The property is in a quiet area, on the water and very close to a boat launch. Great for relaxing and entertaining. Relatively close to stores, resteraunts. Very comfortable. Only down side is only one of the three bedrooms has a closet. Would definitely stay again."

"The bungalow was a perfect place for our family to spread out during Clemson family weekend. The Seneca location was a nice escape after a long game day on campus. Our college daughter even spent the night with us for a night and used one of the rooms to get a good night's sleep. The desk in the bedroom came in handy while she studied for an upcoming exam. "Absolutely loved this little cottage! Its perfect for a clemson visit as a quick shot down 123 gets you right to campus or the same distance other direction gets you to greenville for dinner. We especially loved the back deck. It was very hot the weekend we were there and the back deck remained pleasant and cool! The fenced yard was AMAZING for furry companions. Its a chain link fence and the owner has carefully plugged up the bottom so even the smallest puppers would not be able to escape! "

"This was our second time at this beautiful getaway home. Outstanding architecture and peaceful surroundings. We did have some visitors at the falls as we were there during the July 4th week, but that would be expected on a a summer holiday. They were at the bottom of the falls and did not bother anyone. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place to do it!"

"We had an amazing week staying here. We rented a boat from Harbor Light Marina and loved that we could use the dock to tie up to. The dock is situated in a quiet cove. The house comes with a bunch of water equipment you can use, but we brought our own stuff, so didn't really have the need for it. The lake is busy on the weekends & holidays, but M-F it's quiet.
