「What's not to like? A very comfortable cottage by the side of the loch in Carloway, We were all very comfortable and spoiled by the well-equipped kitchen, ideal for self-catering. Plenty of instruction books for those not familiar with induction hobs, lots of reading material about the locale, nice to have the well-stocked community shop nearby. A wonderful place to stay as a base for Lewis and Harris. Thank you!」

「The silverwood is an outstanding rental property. The rental looked exactly like the photos and the place was clean when we arrived. The property is very modern compared to other rental properties on Skye. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Skye is the type of location you need to have dinner reservations or food at home; otherwise few options. There is a Michelin star restaurant down the road. The Stein Inn was also amazing! The neighbouring property has sheep and rosters;...

「Extremely comfortable bungalow in a tranquil setting overlooking a Loch. It was equipped to a very high standard - even better than we had imagined. Our host Anne replied promptly when we contacted her. The location was ideal - halfway between Tarbert and Stornoway. We were a party of three generations and it suited everybody. If we return to Lewis and Harris, we would look no further than 7 Habost!」
