Dogs are not allowed in the bedrooms or downstairs but it was pretty easy to manage because you could enclose your pet in allowable areas. 「The house is private, modern and spacious with all of the necessary amenities and had a really well equipped kitchen for cooking in. There is a lovely little hiking trail just down the hill from the house and Harper's Ferry is not far and has countless outdoor activities- (including a brand new bungee jumping site) and lots of great place to eat.The River Country Store is even closer and is a great little stop to pick up food basics and gifts. 「Our group of 4 stayed one night at Thistle Cottage as we biked through Harper’s Ferry on the C&O. We loved this house! It was clean, well-stocked, had ample space for all of us and our gear, and had a hose available to clean bikes. It was well located in a neighborhood we felt safe locking our bikes up in the yard and was walking distance to delicious food options. And Angela was very accommodating and great to deal with. Our only regret is we didn’t have more time to enjoy the property!」
