"Me and my Fiance usually have a good time here. Recently we went and our first room could’ve been in better condition but the staff were very accommodating when we expressed our concerns. They upgraded us to a much better room with a beautiful view. The pool was under maintenance, which sucked but it was okay since we intended to go to the beach anyway. My Fiance went to the spa and she absolutely loved it. Parking here is always free and easy. And one of the front desk staff, Lisa, is always so kind and cheerful. We will definitely be returning."

"Great location if you have small children- able to walk to the beach/splash pad. Its only 10-12 min walk, however, there are quite a few stairs to go down/up. Free parking next to hotel and lots of shops/farmers market on weekend. The only downside was the pillows, not the most comfortable."

"This was our second year in a row at Silver Beach Hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful during both our stays. Location was ideal on top of the bluff and across the street from downtown - including all shops and restaurants. We had a lake view and could also see the channel, and since we were on top of the bluff the train noise was a non-issue. Everything was walkable, with the beach taking about 10 minutes from hotel to sand. Pool was up and running and was a nice alternative to the beach when weather wasn’t ideal."

"Fantastic rooms, great layout, we loved the balcony with a view. Beds were very comfortable, white robes and slippers in the closet. We enjoyed the pool and outside bar. Made it to the happy hour at Planks for specials on drinks and an appetizer. Overall, it was a fantastic stay that exceeded our expectations, staff was very helpful and friendly, we will definitely come back again."

"We really like this hotel. We go back every summer. It is maybe old but it is always very clean. And the staff is super nice. The breakfast area is kept clean all the way through the breakfast time. I hardly ever seen such an effort in other places. Thanks you so much."
