翌日ハロン湾クルーズにいく前日利用ということで、ハノイ市内で探していて、去年末に出来たばかり、ということでここにしました。コロナが騒がれていて不安でしたが、スタッフはみなマスクをつけていて、私にも外出時は装着をと促してくれました。マスクしていても笑顔が感じられるフロントの女性に非常に安心しました。日本語も織り交ぜて説明してくれて、LCCで疲れた身体をまずはスパ、外で行こうと思ったところ、地下に併設のスパがあると案内され、そちらにしてみました。宿泊者割引があり60分のフルボディマッサージで3000円以下で受けられたように記憶しています。やはり町中のスパよりホテル併設ということで、清潔で雰囲気もよかったです。クルーズのあと、一度は行ってみたかった、Sofitelのスパもいきましたが、値段を考慮するとリピするならこちらかなという印象です。またそのフロントの女性に翌日のプランや、その日午後のプラン、0時以前なら出歩いてもそれほど危なくないことなど教えて貰い安心しました。どのエリアは歩いて良いか、とか、歩ける距離なのかなど聞きました。翌朝にはフロントにいるスタッフ、ドアマン、オーナーらしき人、みんなが行き先を共有してくれて声をかけてくれて安心できました。一番安価な部屋を利用しましたが、一人旅には充分でした。清潔でしたし、ベッドメイクは本物の花びらがアレンジされていました。ただ、かがんだときに見えてしまったのですが、ミニテーブルの上のせっかくのホテル名の書いたプレートに埃がたまっていて惜しく感じたので，アンケートに清潔度が少し足りないと書いたら、そのフロントの女性が”どこがだめでしたでしょうか”とその場で聞いてくれ、私も詳細を伝えることが出来、”ベストを尽くします有り難う教えてくれて”、”素晴らしいですがそこだけ気になりました。でも素晴らしいです、ありがとう”といった会話ができ、心残りなくチェックアウトしました。次も来るなら又利用します。当初はキングスイートを予約していて、予算から変更しましたが、素敵なホテルだとわかったので次はスイート利用してみたいです。ハノイに来るならまたここを利用すると思います。

家族旅行で2泊しました。 ホテルはハノイ旧市街の中にあり、食事、買い物、観光スポットは徒歩圏内で大変便利。その代わり通りに面した部屋では車、バイクの騒音が気になります。スタッフはどなたも丁寧で好印象でした。部屋は改装済みで清潔でした。旧市街をアクティブに散策される方におすすめします。

The hotel was pretty new and the people working at the hotel and the hotel lobby stuff are so friendly and always helpful. I really liked this hotel. The only thing I would comment would be, I think they are planning to add bath tub and so the bath room was so big with only one shower, and they should add a or 2 towl hanger. And also the pillow, pillow was a little too highe and no other options. it might be better to put different type of pillows, that would be perfect.

Buen hotel pequeño en el centro de Hanoi.
Él está y no te va a estar bien ubicado en el centro de Hanoi. Se puede salir a caminar tranquilamente en los alrededores, donde hay muchas tiendas, restaurantes y algunos lugares turísticos. El personal es muy amable y se esfuerza en todo el tiempo por dar un gran servicio. La Srita. Anna dio seguimiento todo el tiempo a nuestras necesidades vía WhatsApp. Nos ayudó a conseguir un tour justo como lo necesitábamos. El bufete desayuno es sencillo pero bueno. Es un hotel pequeño pero cómodo. Lo único complicado es que para acceder al restaurante hay que subir escaleras, lo cual no es adecuado para la gente con problemas en las piernas.

This property was exceptional and very good value for the money. Exceptional in the fact that it had all the pleasantries of the large expensive hotel chains at a much more affordable price point. Gem in the heart of Hanoi
Great hotel located very centrally. All the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were credited a free massage each at the attached spa and the restaurant served great food as well.

Lovely hotel, really nice decor and great location for the old town. A stones throw from the lake and most attractions. The staff are the stars of the show here - nothing they wouldn’t do for you. We loved staying here, thank you for looking after us!

Très bien situé et très agréable
Le personnel est top. L’hôtel n’est vraiment pas loin de tout. C’est très accessible. Le petit déjeuner n’avait pas beaucoup de choses mais c’était très bon, nous avons bcp aimé notre séjour là-bas même s’il a été de courte durée !

All hotel personnel was extremely polite and attentive. Especially would like to thank Emily who made our stay unforgettable by arranging transfer, early check in and trip to Ninh Binh. Regarding the hotel location, you have everything what you need (shops, restaurants, bars etc.), but the hotel rooms are not noisy.

Premium room with a city view. City view it was not. I had a view of someone else’s house/apartments. Not one tiny view of the city. Suggest they check their room descriptions. Very disappointing actually.

I booked this hotel one more night before leaving for Ha Long Bay because it was so good. The staff is truley amazing (many thanks to Mo) helping out with lost lugage, booking taxi, transfer to airport etc. Clean and big rooms. Location is great as well (in old town). Breakfast had everything from salad, fresh fruts, break, all types of eggs, soup, nudels, juice. When I go back to Hanoi I will for sure stay at this hotel!

This hotel was amazing. The staff was great, helping me out with everything from getting transports, getting back my lost lugage from the airport etc. Big Thanks to Mo! ❤️ the room was very clean, Wi-Fi good, location perfect, and breakfast was also very good. Would recommend people to stay here.

We rest enjoyed our stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They mark all places where we want to go on the map when we check in. This hotel is in great location and many restaurants and food in a walking distance. They get our room ready and put all luggages in the room when we came back from 2days tour. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will come back to this hotel. Thank you staff at Shining hotel for providing us a great experience.

I absolutely loved my stay here as the solo traveller. I was taken back by how friendly and sincere the staff all were, they were always so helpful and kind. My room was reasonably sized and the shower nice and hot. Snacks were replensined in my room daily but i didn't know that they charge for these - something to know ! They also have a small gym downstairs that is 24hrs which is brilliant, the location is also fantastic. Right next to all the delicous street food you need and plenty of shops for your knock off winter gear haha. I walked around the area after 12am as a solo woman and felt safe in the area. There was a problem with my AC and management handled it so well which is when their good guest service really showed ! :) I book the halong bay tour with the hotel and they managed to get me a free upgrade to the most incredible and spacious room. I'm honestly so greatful to the staff here, solo travel can be difficult sometimes especially in a country where you only know speak a few words of the language but i felt looked after and reasurred by the staff here. I would recommend to a friend and will stay again on my next trip to Hanoi.

The staff are by far the most decent and kind people in Hanoi. My issue was unstable wifi. The internet system is very weak and gets disconnected. Took 4days to be offered for a hot spot and later said improvement were made but suffered same disconnect issue for another 3days and then check out. If internet connection is important for you like doing business trip, seek elsewhere. I am saddened to write a harsh review for such hard working staff but internet connection should be marked as a warning. Or be offered a refund.

Excellent stay! Highly recommended!
Great location. I stayed in different opportunities and all the time was great. According to the app I gave previously a bad rating but this is not true! Service was amazing, food really good, laundry service great.. in general the staff was aware of us 24/7. Even when we were not able to eat in the morning they offered us to take food to go. I highly recommended if you want to have a nice stay and great service.

This property's location is central, which is a great benefit but 1) the Wifi does not work - multiple guests were always asking how they could connect and none of the issues were resolved, 2) the hotel service at night is minimal and very curt and 3) the breakfast is stale and left for days. I would not stay here again.

Nice new property with lovely staff in a convenient location. Awesome breakfast. Only drawback was construction noise, but I’m not sure if that was controllable by the hotel.

Great location in the middle of the Old Quarter and only around the corner from the bus stop to the airport and Bus service to Sapa. The rooms were great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the top floor was also nice with the views of the city.
