Great Location as it is next to the shopping center. The canal can be seen from the room. The big windows make the room bright and pleasant.

Food, gym, pool are highlights here
Hotel feels new and clean. Gym, pool, and food definite highlights. Buffet, German, Chinese restaurants all worth it. Rooms are ok. Executive Suite is large but lacks detail and warmth. Regular king room has a strange layout with the bathroom sink and mirror in the entranceway. All in all a decent and relaxing stay at this property.

Great hotel.
Wonderful hotel. Friendly staff, great facilities like a great German cafe and restaurant, pretty nice afternoon tea (setting and service is great, but food quality could be slightly better), and great pool and huge jacuzzi (but a swimming hat is non negotiable). Location isn't great for west lake but if you know how to order taxis and avoid rush hour it's fine to get around. Some nice restaurants in the next door shopping mall like a Vietnamese and there's a blue frog too. The breakfast buffet was wide ranging and pretty good, but the quality of most things wasnt up to true 5 star level. I personally found the bed too hard, but after mentioning this they put a second mattress topper on it and I was fine after that. A final negative is there is a bit of a dodgy smell from the toilet. But the electronic bidet somewhat makes up for that! Overall I'd recommend this place though and would return.

Brand new hotel with very tasteful decoration. Staff are friendly but some definitely require more training. As the hotel is new and probably so as the staff, given them more time, they should be great. Room is comfortable with camel view; however, the design of it is probably only for couple as the bath tub is right in the center of the room with no partition. The shopping mall is right next to hotel, so if you don’t want hotel food, there are plenty of choices. The room service food; however, is below standard. Definitely need great imporovement in this area.

第一次來杭州家庭旅遊,因之前入住泰國Kempinski感覺後好,得知杭州Kempinski剛開業不久,特意來住幾天試試。 酒店大堂精致,但較小。Check-in時前台服務員表情很木納,沒有笑容。 房間潔淨,但浴缸設在大床隔壁,設計不方便住客使用,因每次用後房間地板會很濕。 大堂吧設計優美,但有些地板看起來已很陳舊,不像只開業一個多月的酒店。 早餐不錯,很多選擇。感覺自助晚餐應該也不錯(因已安排很程,這次沒品嘗) 。 泳池是最好的一環,但住客要穿過餐廳才能去到,不方便。 因酒店位置在滴滴上有誤差,每次用滴滴叫車都要找hotel concierge幫忙。 前台服務是比較差的一環,希望只是個別員工問題。在此感謝前廳部經理處理。 整體感覺,酒店不錯,但服務上個別員工有待改進。

Overall decoration is chic and room is spacious, with view of the canal, staff is helpful, buffet breadfast is great! The disadvantage is not all the facilities available, e.g. swimming pool
