"The house was charming. It was the perfect venue for a birthday weekend for our daughter and several friends. We had great meals at home and a wonderful celebration at Chamard Vineyards which is very near by. Hosts were great. "

"What a sweet cottage! We had three adults and two children stay and there was room for us all. The host left a fully stocked snack basket which my kids loved. Fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. It snowed overnight and before we were up, the driveway was plowed and the front walkway cleared! We had a great stay and will return if we are back in the area. Highly recommend!"

"The house was perfect for our large family to gather as we prepared for a family wedding down the street. We went swimming in the sound, lots of walking in the beautiful area.The host was beyond helpful and kind and we LOVED the location. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the beach was perfect. There were lots of bedrooms and space for small groups to gather to play games or dine together. My only complaint is there were not enough lights in the living room for reading. We had a wonderful time!"

"The main level inside was clean. The outside of the house, including the back porch, was run down and filthy. There were cinder blocks and trash all around the house, moss growing on the benches, and holes and wood rot on the porch deck. We didn't even go near the hot tub.Inside, there were a couple things worth noting. The pocket door separating the family room from the master BR was warped and didn't slide all the way closed. A knob was missing on the stove and there was old food in the refrigerator.On the positive side, the TV and internet were great. (We had to contact the owner for the password.) The furniture and beds were clean and comfortable, and there were some very interesting plumbing fixtures, including a bathtub in the middle of the bedroom. The bathrooms were small but functional with good hot and cold water pressure. Overall, a mixed experience."

"House was great, clean, well-stocked. Loved the porches! Reid was a great host - very responsive and helpful (including going above/beyond and sending me back a possession I had forgotten). Location near the beach and quiet neighborhood were perfect for our family!"

"This is a lovely beach house. I've stayed in fancier VRBOs but this would be great for grandparents to rent and have their kids and grandkids come stay for the week. We walked to the beach each morning. My husband and I are birders and this is a fantastic place to go birding. Probably the best supplied kitchen of any VRBO we've been at. "
