The owners greeted us with such friendliness. They had turned the heater on in our room (it was a freezing evening) and we were very comfortable during our stay. It was also close to restaurants etc, which was handy

Needs some love

A very untidy and cluttered reception area did not give a very good first impression. The 2 bedroom unit was clean but in need of an update. New carpeting would certainly be a great addition. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable with very thin pillows. OK for a one night stay.

Cosy, Clean Country Hospitality at Hamilton

Centrally located motel with country hospitality. For my winter stay they had turned the heater on to warm up my room and left a light on for an evening check-in. Although it was on the highway, there was no traffic noise. My room was very clean, bed was comfortable.and undercover parking was an added bonus.

It's right opposite a beautiful lake and the staffs were helpful. Rooms are clean and we get to use the bbq pit. However, horrible experience came after we checked out. When I checked out, it was not communicated to me any additional charges. The staffs should have checked the room and let me know should any charges apply. While I was halfway on the road, I got an additional AUD 106 charged to my credit card without informing me. It was said that's for the extensive cleaning required. While it's really hard to justify extensive when we are no longer there to see what they mean so theres little to no grounds for us to defend. We've been moving around Victoria and stayed in a few hotels, none of them complained about any extensive cleaning required. It should be checked on the spot rather than being a little sneaky and charged us after we left. It's the first time I've experienced this kind of charging method after having travelled to so many places.

Look, it isn't the Taj Mahal, but it has beds, a shower, a semi kitchen. Good place to rest your head and it's pretty close to the centre of town. Nothing bad about it, but nothing outstanding either.

Comfortable Stay

Good place to stay overnight on a road trip from The Grampians back to Sydney. Very friendly, helpful receptionist. Comfortable bed and plenty of room. Decor could do with a little improvement. Location to town centre was not so handy and required a 15 mins walk and not many restaurants open on the Monday night we were there but overall a comfortable stay.

Good place for a family

Decent standard qualify motel, however plus is location and staff were willing to stay on longer to assist us when we made them aware we would not be able to arrive within the check in period. Rooms are clean and family suite is suitable.

Überraschend guter Zwischenhalt

Sehr guter Aufenthalt. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hat uns gute Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben. Waren für einen Stopp hier. Hamilton hat uns gut gefallen, würden beim nächsten Mal wider in dieses Motel gehen. Alles sehr sauber. Die Einrichtungen waren in sehr gutem Zustand und es gab sogar einen kleinen Garten.
