  • Our two-story home on a quiet tree-lined street will be a welcome retreat for your family or friends getaway! Quilters will love the shops downtown - one guest described Hamilton as a "Quilters' Disneyland"! In the fall, hunters will love the local conservation areas. Hardwood floors, a jack-and-jill bedroom closet, and the cutest under-the-stairs bathroom you've ever seen, make this house a charmer. With large rooms, comfy furniture, a dining room big enough for a crowd, and king, queen, full and twin size beds to sleep 10, our guests can enjoy time together and have room to spread apart. Spend quiet mornings relaxing on the front porch swing, evenings in the fenced back yard toasting marshmallows over the fire pit, and days playing games, crafting, quilting, and just renewing yourself in our comfortable space. Take a day trip to St Joseph for some history, Kansas City for BBQ, or Jamesport Amish country for some great shopping! It’s and Convenient

We had the best time staying at the Hamilton House while visiting family. The kitchen was well stocked and the house was conveniently located in town. We will stay again!

Great stay!

Stayed here with our three kids and we were really comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. The bunk beds were great for the kids. I’d be happy to stay here again.

Girls weekend to Missouri Star

A cosy historic, home away from home. It was the perfect stay for three friends, all being able to have our own room. The amenties were wonderful and the house is a perfect walking distance into town. We would recommend staying at this property.

Perfect for quilters.

The house is very clean, in a very nice neighborhood, close to shopping.. Beds were very comfortable. Was perfect for 2 night stay to check out Missouri Star Quilting. Lovely town and lots of fun for quilters.

Nice short stay in Hamilton

Nice place for girls trip

The home was pleasant and the porch was wonderful in the mornings. The beds were comfortable. Iron would be nice to have. There’s only one shower and not with the best water pressure - plan accordingly! Short walk to downtown which was perfect for us!

Beautifully restored and clean

The Hamilton House is an older home that has been beautifully restored. It was very clean, and the listing described it perfectly. It was the perfect setting to gather with extended family for a fun weekend trip to MSQC. I would definitely stay here again! :)

Excellent comfortable home

4 Senior ladies enjoyed staying in super comfy beds! Plenty of room to invite more over for drinks and games. Roomy kitchen! Be aware all bedrooms are in 2nd floor but steps were easy maneuver. Enjoy!!

Just as described

The purpose of our trip was to visit Missouri Star Quilt Company. The house location was perfect for this. We also visited two of other towns in the area. Again, perfect location for this part of the country. House was clean and just as described. If we visit the area again I'd book the same location.

Spacious House with Friendly Hosts

We rented this house for a family gathering. We had 5 children and three adults. We played games at the spacious dinning room table. The host left a sweet note and homemade cookies! The host was also very accommodating and quick to respond to all messages. We will be back!!

Wedding at The Pearl

Spacious home with charm! It was further from the venue than i had expected, but very doable! Window AC’s had a hard time cooling the upstairs bedrooms n the heat and blaring sun, but overnight they cooled down. Loved the porch swing for morning coffee! overall a great place to stay!

The best Host ever!

This house was very very clean! She was great with getting us in the earlier than the stated check-in time! And even left us a Delicious treat! ( Pecan Pie MuffinsYum!!!) That was such sweet little surprise. This is an older home, so it has little creaks and embellishments brought back memories of days past..

Six of us gals stayed in the Hamilton House for three nights! The beds were super comfortable and the linens were awesome. Grounds are neat and we had a wonderful time visiting Hamilton and the MO Star Quilt Company. The hideabed couch is not so comfortable, just saying, but everything else is wonderful. We came in an RV and parked on the street which is ample. You will enjoy! Some of the doors could use some oil :).
