"This was a lovely hotel. Great location (literally steps away from public transit and grocery stores) with a nice garden out front. The room was nicely furnished and had a handy microwave and fridge. The hotel also had a laundry room. The only thing stopping this hotel from getting a 4 star was the shower. The shower could not maintain a constant temperature and would fluctuate constantly from freezing cold to scorching hot without touching the controls. "

Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing...

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"Auch wenn das Wetter zu Anfang nicht wirklich gut war, hatten wir eine sehr schöne Woche. Der Empfang durch die Gastgeber war sehr nett und herzlich. Wir und unser Hund wurden mit kleinen Geschenken verwöhnt und auch darüber hinaus fehlte es an nichts. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig ausgestattet. "The location was close to town but yet far enough away to be peaceful. We loved the animals so close by!! The house and the location are beautiful. The house was clean and well kept.
